6 week 6 pack abs

I started working out about a month ago doing P90X (only abs and legs) cause those are the areas that I wanted to mainly focus on.  So I decided that it wasn't really working for me, so I wanted something more fun.  I know what your thinking...who the hell has fun working out.  I like my work outs to be interested and different.  After much research, well not really...I decided that I needed the help from none other than Jillian Michaels, she's trainer from the Biggest Loser who has the BEST abs I've ever seen.

I've decided that I'm going to take weekly pictures to see my progress.
Current Weight: 118lbs

My goal when I first started working out was to get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 115lbs.  I'm 3lbs away from that, but I'm not really focused so much on losing those last 3lbs as getting my ass toned back up.  After having kids your skin doesn't look good like it use to!  To be honest looking at my tummy, yes flat it still looks gross when you really look at it.  I'm not trying to fish for compliments.  I just want to feel confident again.  Since having my babies I haven't felt confident, I feel run down.  Looking back at pictures of myself then and now I wonder why my hubby is still with me! haha I look like a train wreck.  Most days you can find me with my semi greasy hair pulled back, in my spit up pajama's attending to my kids.  Since I'm a stay at home mom somtimes I feel like why do I need to get all dressed up nice with my hair & make up done if I'm not leaving my house!  Do I need to look dolled up for my kids?  Do they care what I look like?   NO but I should care, I mean my kids are dressed better than me!

So I'm going to make a change, I'm going to do my work outs 5 days a week, start eating better and trying to not look like a train wreck!!  So I'll be doing weekly updates on my 6 pack ab progress.  Thanks for listening to me vent.

On a much different note:
Our Saturday was spent visiting Jason's cousin in the hospital.  He got in a bad dirt bike accident on Thursday night.  I am so glad that he is ok.  He broke # 9 & 10 disk in his back, broke 2 ribs, needs to get a pin in his wrist, got a fractured skull and a semi callapsed lung.  I know your reading this saying OMG he's lucky to be alive....and I would have to agree.  We are all thankful that it didn't turn out worse.
GET WELL SOON JUSTIN

Kaylee drew cousin Justin a get well soon sign and he was so happy when I gave it to him.  Since he's in the ICU they don't let kids go in so I thought having her make him a sign would lift his spirits.

*****

Tomorrow it's suppose to be 77 degrees out so we might be heading to splash around at the lake.  Our pool is under construction at the moment.  We're hoping to get it fixed soon cause the 80 degree days are coming!

Have a good weekend!
Oh one more thing there are only 13 more days till Kaylee's 2nd birthday!

&

14 days till her birthday party...gosh there's still so much to do!

Saturday Morning Scene

It’s Saturday!  Which means we are linking up with Katie again for another edition of Saturday Morning Scene

Our Saturday morning is pretty low key, Keira let me sleep in a little bit, which is always nice!  So we headed downstaires to feed my hungry baby her rice cereal...YUMMY

&

Kaylee is watching TOY STORY 3 for like the 49540954095th  time in the last 2 days!  I think I have that movie almost memorized.  When it's over she wants to watch it again and again and again!  I think Mommy needs a little break from Toy Story 3 and we need to pick a new disney movie.  She also found a box of peanut butter crackers that she opened herself to munch on while watching her movie

******
Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Not to sure what our plans are for the rest of the day.  I will probably be cleaning our house and doing laundry.  Gotta get this house in tip top shape for Kaylee's birthday party on May 14th!  I'll probably head out and get some stuff I need for her party too.  Tonight Kaylee is going to Grandma Sid's to spend the night.

5 Months Old

Keira
I have enjoyed these past 5 months with you, watching you grow, watching your personality shine through and for being oh so adorable!  I thank your daddy everyday for giving me the opportunity to be able to stay home with you. I've asked time quite often if it could please slow down a little bit but it is ignoring me.  I cant believe that my littlest one has been with us for 5 months already.  She is just getting so big so fast.  It makes me sad cause she is our last (I think) and I'm trying to savor my time with her.

She is such a good baby, she's calm and laid back.  Likes to be held and sometimes she would rather just be put on the ground so that she scoot scoot scoot.  That's right, I lay her down walk away for like 10 seconds and when I come back she's in a different position and not in the same place I left her. She is just such a joy to have around.  I'm loving that I'm able to watch her grow and learn new things everyday!  She's a mommy's girl.  She likes to give smiles to everyone though.

  • Every day she is able to sit up unassisted longer and longer, the longest has been 1.5 mintues
  • She's been eating rice cereal with a fruit/veggie and LOVES it
  • She just celebrated her 1st Easter, she didn't know what was going on
  • She can hold her own bottle, that use to be our time together but now she wants to do it.  I try to hold her while she holds her bottle and she just squirms all over the place.
  • She started teething and I have to change so many of her shirts cause they get soaked from all the drool.
  • This kid spits up more than any I know.  I use to feed her 6oz every 4 hours well the DR told me that was to much, so we dropped it down to 4oz every 2 hours, well this kid still spits up a lot.  So I don't know what to do now (putting a call into the dr today
  • She follows objects
  • She rolls over from tummy to back
  • She's trying to roll over from back to tummy
  • She gets so excited when I make her bottle
  • When it's nap time or bed time she still likes to be swaddled.  At night though one little hand makes an exit to get some air or sometimes I find both arms up over her head.
  • She can put weight on her legs and stand while holding onto things (not by herself)
  • She turns toward noises

Watching the interaction between Kaylee & Keira just melts my heart to the core.  As Keira gets bigger Kaylee wants to be around her more and tries to play with her.  The other day Keira was laying on the floor and was starting to get a little fussy and Kaylee brought me Keira's bottle and said "mama I feed sissy"  so I made the bottle and Kaylee went back over to Keira, sat next to her and fed her her bottle.  Kaylee likes to sit next to her and read her books or show her her flash cards and the sounds the animals make.  It's just really cute to watch.  These 2 are going to be BEST FRIENDS!
  • She knows her name, when I call her she looks and gets a HUGE smile on her face
  • She blows bubbles
  • She recognizes mommy, daddy & Kaylee
  • She sits in a high chair now to eat breakfast, lunch & dinner
  • She can move the toys on her jumperoo, she loves to be in her jumperoo and jump high.  I have to move it up another level cause she's getting so tall.
  • Since she's been teething I gave in and got her Sophie the Giraffe.  I found one on ebay for less than any where else.  She likes to chew on her face and yes it does kinda remind me of a dog toy cause it squeaks, but she laughs when she sqeaks it

STATS:
Weight: 15lbs (guessing)
Height: 26.5"
Diaper Size: 2 moving to a size 3 soon
Clothes Size: 3-6 & 6 months depending on clothes 6-9 sleepers
Shoe Size: 2 (she doesn't really wear shoes to often)
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Dark Blue

  • She takes 3 naps a day...1st nap at 9am for about 30 minutes, 2-3 hour nap at 12 and then another cat nap for 30 minutes at 5.
  • She goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up at between 2-3 to drink a bottle and will go back to sleep till 7.  Although every night if different, this is what it usually is.  I guess if her teeth are really bothering her she'll wake up more often at night.  Which leaves mommy the next day like a walking ZOMBIE!  LOL
  • She has been nice to mommy and has slept through the night twice.  Oh those two nights of full sleep were AWESOME!  I just hope she does that more often.  Last night we made a deal that she was going to sleep good so that mommy could get some sleep.  She woke up right at 2am last night and we watched a little bit of the Royal Wedding.
  • When you make silly noises or silly faces at her it makes her laugh
  • She likes to roll onto her side
  • She's going to chew her fingers right off, she sometimes would rather chew on her hands than use any of her teething toys.

Her little personality is starting to show through more each day and she is to funny.

I love that she is a snuggle bug, when putting her to sleep at night she takes a bath, we get our jammies on, she drinks a bottle and then I rock her to sleep.  She draps her little arms around my neck and it's the best feeling.  I love having that one on one time with her cause I know soon she will not want me to rock her anymore

  • She has no stranger anixety, she'll go to anyone in the family
  • She loves when Kaylee talks to her, the other night Keira was sitting up like a big girl and kaylee was laying in front of her and they were talking back and forth.  It was so precious!
  • When Keira sits up byself or holds her bottle Kaylee claps and says "YAY Keira"

Exhausted!

Exhausted is an under statement!  More like beyond exhausted...why you might ask?  Well I'll tell you.  I think I got way to spoiled after having Kaylee.  The first 4 weeks with her were pretty easy, we only had a bad night where she cried for hours, but after hitting the 4 week mark and started formula...the kid slept through the night from there on out!  The only time it was different was when she we teething.

Lets fast forward to when I came home from the hospital in Dec. with my baby #2.  I thought that I might get lucky again with her.  Well I was so WRONG!  She will be 5 months old tomorrow and in this time she has only slept through the night twice.  Yeah you heard me right TWICE.

I guess it could be a lot worse, she use to wake up 2 times at night and now it's down to 1 time at night (sometimes)!  Lets talk about last night...she goes to bed around 8:30 and was back awake at 11:15 drank her bottle and then went back to sleep.  Mommy finally fell asleep around 12 and she was back awake at 2:00am OMG seriously!  So I tried to just give her her pacifier and hope she would go back to sleep but no.  So she drank another bottle and thought that it was time to PLAY.  SERIOUSLY kid, it's 2:15am its not time to play its time to be sleeping!!!  So finally around 3:00am she fell asleep.  Well guess who was up bright n early this morning at 6:00 on the dot.  I don't know what to do.  She takes a 30 minute nap around 9am and then her 2 hour nap at 12 and then another 30 minute nap around 5.

Today I have tape holding my eye lids open and I might need to take a nap today while the girls nap.  I am one tired mama.  I hope that something changes soon cause I don't know how much longer I can go like it.  It makes me feel slugish through out the day and I don't want to do anything cause I'm so tired.

So fingers crossed that mommy starts getting some sleep soon.

Helping mommy feed sissy, she's such a big helper

Look at those eye lashes and those beautiful blues

Embrace The Camera

It's time to embrace the camera with The Anderson Crew.

As Keira gets bigger and is becoming more mobile I've noticed that Kaylee wants to be around her even more than before.  Keira sits in her bumpo and Kaylee has to be right next to her, either watching cartoons together, Kaylee reading Keira a book or just talking to each other.  Yesterday I was able to get capture their sisterly love.

The pictures aren't great quality cause I took them with my IPhone, but I love them.
I love the way their watching cartoons together but my favorite is the other picture of Keira rubbing Kaylee's back.  Oh it was just the cutest thing!  I'm loving the interaction they have with each other

What I'm loving Wednesday - SNEAK PEEK CONT.

It's Wednesday so that means it's time to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I"m LOVING how Kaylee's 2 year photos turned out.
Last week we took her out and took her 2 year pictures and I LOVE how they look, she did awesome.  I was a little worried that she wasn't going to coroperate and it would be a total disaster but much to my surprise she did really well and we even got some REAL smiles from her.  Most of the time she gives fake smiles just to make mom happy.  She's having an Olivia the Pig theme for her party.
