Featuring: Ollie Jones Leggings + a Giveaway

Instagram has become my favorite new place to find and support small businesses.  I love that a lot of the businesses are run by moms, its always fun to show support and help them get there name out there.  I have a totally fun shop that you need to check out.  I have always had an obsession with leggings for my girls.  When Kaylee was little I would get her leggings from Target or Carter's they were usually a plain color.  The same went for Keira, plain leggings.  But when I had Kendall I ventured out to buying leggings with patterns on them.  Kendall's legging collection is out of this world.  She has 2 draws full of leggings.  So when I came across Ollie Jones on instagram and saw all of her adorable and funky leggings, I knew the girls would have to have them.

Cheryl was nice enough to send me 3 pair of leggings (2 pairs for Kendall & a pair for Keira).  Ollie Jones is based out of Canada and these leggings got to me fast.  When I got the package I was so exited to take them out and get my hands on them.  They were even cuter in person than on her etsy site.  They were so soft, being made from 100% organic cotton and the girls loved them.  I got Keira a 4T and they fit her perfect with room to grow into.  Kendall I got the 12-24 month, since Kendall has such a tiny waist they were a little big in that area and I love that she will be able to wear them next year.  The length was perfect on both girls and I love that they aren't to thick, so the girls will be able to wear them into spring and summer, as it gets hot here in TX.  Her sizing starts at 0-3 months through 4T.

The prices aren't bad at all for organic leggings, I love that she has a good selection of leggings to choose from and her turn around time is fast and she has great customer service.

I mean seriously how cute do the girls look?!

Here's the exciting news, Cheryl is giving away 3 pairs of leggings to one lucky reader!
  Totally cool right.

This giveaway will run for a week (March 24-29) & is open to everyone
Make sure you have a valid email address so I can get in contact with you.
GOOD LUCK

Featuring: Jamie Clark Art + a Giveaway

I have found so many incredible shops through instagram that I would have never found before without it. Instagram is like a stomping ground for getting your business out there.  I came across Jamie Clark Art on instagram and fell in love with her custom art drawings.  I scrolled through her feed and knew I needed one of her custom pieces in my house.

Jamie Clark Art graciously sent me a custom art drawing.  She was incredible to work with.  She made my vision come to life and I love the way the drawing turned out.  With my husband having a little Indian in him and now my girls having a little Indian in them, I have a love for teepees, dream catchers, moccasins & feathers.  So when I saw that Jamie could do a drawing that incorporated a teepee and my girls,  I was totally excited to see what she would come up with.  I sent her a description of how I wanted each of the girls to look, there hair color, what they wore and what they would be doing in the teepee.  She took everything I said and the art work turned out perfect.  She even got Kendall's lovey that she carries everywhere down to a tee.

When I showed the art work to the girls, they totally knew that that was each of them.  This picture will go perfect next to there new teepee that is on it's way.  Once there teepee gets here I plan to recreate the custom drawing Jamie did and get a photo of the girls to hang next to Jamie's art work.  Thank you again Jamie, you were fantastic to work with and her turn around time was fast.  I love that she sent me a proof of the picture before hand to make sure I didn't want to make any changes, which I didn't.

So here is the awesome news one of you will be able to win a custom 8x10 drawing from Jamie.

Here is more good news, Jamie was nice enough to offer my readers 10% off for the whole month of March, enter code JESSPARTYOFFIVE at check out.

This giveaway will run for a week and is open to everyone
Make sure you have a valid email address so I can get in contact with you.

Kaylee update: 2 months till she's 5

I cant believe it's been almost a year since I've done an update on Miss Kaylee.
In about 2 months, this girl will be turning FIVE.
It's so crazy to think how fast she's grown up.

STATS:
Weight: 35lbs
Height: 3' 6"
Clothes: XS 4/5 (big girl section)
Shoes: size 11

PERSONALITY:  Kaylee is a perfectionist, everything she is doing has to be perfect (grandma informed me that her daddy was the exact same way)  When something isn't perfect she gets really mad.  When she cant do something to water works usually come out cause she gets so mad about it, instead of asking for help.  She can be such a character at times and makes up laugh daily.  She is people pleaser and likes to make people happy.  At almost 5 she still likes to test her limits and has problems listening.

PRESCHOOL:  She has adjusted really well to her new school.  It was a big adjust for her, school was a lot longer than she was use to going back in CA.  In CA she went to school from 9-12, here in TX she goes from 8-3 (at least they take a nap).  She is learning a lot and making lots of new friends.  She brings home school work and art projects everyday.  She really enjoys going to school and cant wait to ride on the bus.  It's crazy to think that in 3 months she'll be done with preschool and we will be registering her as a Kindergartner.  She's growing up so fast.

LIKES:
* playing outside
* teasing her sister (Keira)
* playing dress up and pretending to be either Rapunzel or Elsa
* playing frisbee with daddy
* writing her name, numbers 1-20 & writing all her ABCs
*coloring and drawing
* playing house and pretending to be the mom or grandma
* playing with Mica & Tatum our new friends in TX
* all things girly (painted toes, lip gloss & pretty dresses)
* playing with your Monster High dolls
* that your grandma is your best friend!

DISLIKES:
* trying new foods
* when she gets sent to her room for doing something wrong
* coming in last at anything
* when something she's doing isn't perfect

ACTIVITIES:  When we moved to TX I knew the one activity Kaylee would want to do more than anything would be tball.  I was going to sign both girls up for dance but once we got here, the classes were full and I just never followed through with it.  So when grandma was visiting last, Kaylee was showing her all her school stuff she has done and a paper for tball, baseball & softball fell out.  I was totally bummed when I saw the dates for sign ups had already passed.  Well I sent an email to them anyways telling them that we had just moved her and wanted to get Kaylee into tball.  The lady got back to me a couple days later saying I needed to get some forms filled out and she would be placed on a team.  When Kaylee got home from school I told her she was signed up for tball and she was totally excited.  She was jumping up and down and asking if everyone would come watch her practice and come to her games.  That weekend we went out and got her a glove (which is the cutest thing) and some cleats.  She cant wait.
