Fashion Post: Back to school

With Kaylee headed back to school, I wanted to get her practical things but also wanted her to have some really fun pieces.  Her school wardrobe is from H&M,The Children's Place & WalMart

I got all of her back to school clothes online and Kaylee was right there with me picking stuff out.  I will say she has some good style.  I love all the clothes and shoes we got.

My Bridal Shower

After I got engaged I had always dreamed of how my bridal shower would be.  All my awesome friends and close family there to shower me in love.  Then we moved to Texas and my dream of all that changed.  I didn't think I would get to have a bridal shower, I lived in Texas....family and friends lived in California and my maid of honor lived in Texas 3 hours from me.

But much to my surprise Jason's mom and her amazing friends put together the most amazing bridal shower for me.  The girls and I boarded a plane for the second time just us girls and headed to CA for 5 days.  We had a lot of fun stuff lined up.  On Friday morning I had a boudoir shoot lined up and was a little nervous, but man was it so much.  My mom flew in on Saturday morning and came over to help me spray paint and glitter up the centerpieces.  The girls swan a lot and watched the fish in the pond.

Sunday morning came and my mom, Jason's mom and her friends showed up early to set up and I got myself and the girls ready.  The shower turned out awesome and I loved everything about it.  We had a waffle bar, which was amazing!  We had waffles, cut up fruit salad, 3 different kinds of syrup (peach, cinnamon & maple), home made whip cream and sausage.  It tasted so good and Jason's moms friend Marie made 3 different amazing cupcakes.  All in all it was an amazing day spent with amazing people.  I was so happy that my mom was able to fly in from CO and spend this special time with me.  Special thanks to my MIL, my mom and my MIL friends for throwing me an awesome shower.

Kaylee's First Day of Kindergarten

Today is the day that Kaylee has been waiting for since school ended and summer began.  Kaylee has been asking all summer when school was going to start and today is finally the day she's been waiting for.  She was up at 6:45am and came out of her room so excited, we ate a good breakfast and then got ready.  She picked out her clothes the night before, her cherry dress and sandals.  We got dress and did her hair, she wanted to have her hair down.  We packed her lunch in her backpack and then took some pictures out from before loading up and heading to school.

We got to school and we walked hand in hand to her classroom.  We made a stop outside the building to take a picture in front of the Kindergarten entrance and then walked to class.  She put her lunch box in the bin and then went with the teacher to hang up her backpack on the hook under the chalkboard, she then came running back over to me as I watched from the door and gave me a big hug and then she made me get all teary eyed when she said "bye mommy, I will miss you and your my best friend always"

I hope she has a great day.  She goes from 8am - 3:15pm
I cant wait to pick her up and hear all about her day.

Taking my blog in a new direction - Girl Fashion

I've fallen off the wagon on blogging.  But since we are pretty much all moved into our new house and the craziness of that is settling down, I can get back to writing.

My blog use to be about whatever.  Since all 3 girls are brand reps for some really awesome shops, I thought I would turn my blog into more of a kids fashion blog.  Posting pictures of my girls in super cute clothes.  Don't worry it wont all be about kids fashion but most of it will be.

If you know us then you know that I have an obsession with headbands.  We are reps & models for some really awesome headbands shops.  Keira is a brand rep for The Knot Project.  Mandy is the sweetest and she is the woman behind The Knot Project she makes awesome maxi dresses and headbands.  She sent us 2 pieces from her new fall line,  the tribal print and faux leather bow headband was the cutest thing ever.  Make sure to go follow Mandy on instagram HERE and follow her etsy shop HERE.

Then we switched up our headband.  All 3 girls are brand reps for Danica's Chic Bowtique she makes some of the cutest headbands.  She makes some over the top headbands, simply headbands and then boho headbands, which are our favorites.  I love how they dress up a simple outfit.
