Jess Wedding: Getting Ready

November 23, 2014

The day I had been waiting for, for 12 years.  It was finally here and I couldn't have been more excited.  Everyone kept asking if I was nervous and I wasn't, I was just really excited.  The anticipation of this day had been a long time coming and I couldn't wait for 5:00pm to walk down the isle to my best friend.

The night before we went to bed early in hopes to get some sleep, I slept off and on.  I woke up early and waited for one of my bridesmaids to come get me.  She arrived and we headed to go pick up my cousin.  We made a stop at Starbucks and then to the bagel shop for breakfast.  We arrived at my friends Cein's parents house on the water to get ready.  It was the perfect morning, the sun was shining and it was the perfect day to get married.

It was so much fun being with all my girls getting ready, talking about old times, high school memories, how we became friends, how awesome it is that were all still friends after all these years and talking about how we met our husbands/boyfriends.

The wonderful Richelle came over with her assistant and worked there magic on us girls.  It was so much to be pampered for the day.  I loved the way my hair and makeup turned out and all the girls looked beautiful.

At 2:00pm we headed over to the venue for me to get my dress on....
I love how all these pictures turned out and I just want to say a huge thank you to our photographer (Tiffany from Ever After Photography) for doing such an amazing job on our pictures.

I will be breaking up our wedding pictures into different groups because there are a lot of them.  So sit back and enjoy!

Our favorite mocc shops

Moccasins, every parents favorite shoe right now.
I know in our house, Miss Kendall is up to almost 20 pairs of moccasins from different shops.
I thought I would highlight the ones that we love.
Kendall has been wearing moccs since she was about 9 months old and my love for them grew.  After receiving our first pair to review, I quickly fell in love and knew these would be a huge staple in her wardrobe.  They are the best for babies who are learning how to walk, Kendall took her first steps in a pair and even as a toddler they have all held up awesome with the running around, through the mud, rocks and cement.  I haven't test how they do when they get wet on the bottom though.

First up...Wild Darlings Shop
We are reps for this shop and this mocc shop is fast becoming our favorite.  Mackenzie is the most talented mocc maker I have seen.  She loves to come up with themed moccs and they are all amazing.  Some of her awesome themes have been Halloween, Christmas, Pocahontas/Navajo, the ever so popular Frozen and just regular colors.  Seriously check out her shop for all her amazingness and talent.  They are great quality, they are soft leather, the colors are so fun, the themes are amazing, unique and creative and with her moccs you can tell how much she loves what she does.

 Seafoam
 Pocahontas {Navajo Collection}
 Boots with fur
 Gold Glitter {Holiday Collection}
Grey with a girly skull {Halloween Collection}

Second up... JaxHoo
I was first introduced to this shop when I asked if she would be interested in me doing a review on her moccs.  She sent me a pair of gunmetal Mary Janes and they were the cutest thing ever.  I really fell in love with her shop after hearing why she started it and the cause behind it.  Carly is an amazing women and is a total sweetheart.  I love the for every mocc she sells she donates $1.00 to SIDS research after her best friend lost her son to SIDS, I mean that's amazing.  The quality of these moccs are amazing and I love that she can add a bow, make regular moccs with fringe, add cozy fur inside and get Mary Jane style.  She is talented, she is one to follow and support.  We own 2 pairs from JaxHoo and we have gotten a lot of use out of them and they have held up great.

Third up... Mommy Makes Moccs
I have been following Mommy Makes Moccs for a long time and have loved her moccs.  Her mocc boots are our favorites.  We have 2 pair, a pair of brown leather and a pair of black suede.  The quality is amazing.  I haven't seen these boots from any other mocc shop which is why I love them.
The mama behind this shop is the sweetest.  She is a must follow.

Fourth up....Freshly Picked
We have been a big fan of this brand for a long time.  We did our first review of these moccs when Kendall was 9 months old.  These moccs are amazing, at 27 months old she finally just outgrew the first pair of moccs we received from them.  We were lucky enough to be able to do another review of these awesome moccs when Kendall started walking, these moccs are awesome quality and hold up really well with walkers.  We've won some in giveaways as well too.  I love this brand and the only downside is the price, I cant bring myself to spend $60.

Jess Wedding: All about US

I am so in LOVE with all these pictures.  It's going to be so hard to pick which ones to print.
