My girls are pretty as a flower

The girls & I spent the morning hanging out together watching cartoons, reading books and looking cute as a button!  I've gotten the honor to sleep in for the past 3 days, it's been fabulous!  Yes Keira still is waking up once at night but she's sleeping in longer.  Kaylee goes to bed at 8:30 and Keira goes to bed at around 9:00-9:30.  Keira wakes up around 3-4 and then falls right back to sleep and she's been waking up between 8-8:30.  Now if I could just get her to sleep all the way through then it would be pure happiness.

I have been feeling less zombie like since I've been able to sleep better at night.  I'm really hoping that she starts sleeping through the night soon.  I have to admit I'm jelous of the families who's little ones sleep through the night but then I'm happy to know that I'm not the only mommy who's got a 5 month old that doesn't sleep through the night yet either.

  

I'm so happy to have this great weather.  I just went through Keira's clothes last night after her bath.  All the 3 & 3-6 month clothes have been taken out and have been packed up.  They are going to be SOLD so that I can go buy more cute clothes for her & Kaylee.

  

This Mother's Day will be my first Mother's Day as a mommy of 2.  Last year was my first Mother's Day since my daughter made me wait 3 extra days, little stinker!  We're going to Jason's moms for breakfast and then I'm not sure what will be in store for the rest of the day.  It will be a little sad cause I wont get to celebrate Mother's Day with my mom since she's in Colorado.  But I am excited to spend the day with my girls and my hubby!

  

Kaylee loves to read her books and it's so cute to watch Kaylee trying to read them to Keira.  She'll sit next to her and show her the pictures in the book.  When I've had a really stressful day with both girls crying at the same time, Kaylee not listening and throwing tantrums or it's just been one of those days, watching my girls together just makes me forget about everything and makes me happy.

For easter Kaylee got these little animal finger puppet toys, that she loves to stick on her fingers.  She thinks it's the funest thing around.  But she does get mad when she get them all on her fingers by herself!  This kid HATES to ask for help, she's very independent but gets pissed off when she cant do it herself.  I try to help her sometimes and I get "no mama I do".

After the girls woke up from their nap they were just being to cute for words!  And of course my camera battery died after being outside with Kaylee.  So I had to whip out my phone to take pictures of the girls cause they were just being OH SO ADORABLE together.

Kaylee played out back for a little bit again before sissy woke up from her nap.

Keira woke up from her nap so we headed inside I set Keira on the couch and took off Kaylee's nice clothes.  When she goes to grandma's house on Monday's she gets her play/grubby clothes on cause they play in the dirt and mommy doesn't want her nice clothes ruined.  Well Kaylee decided to give sissy hugs & kisses

Then mommy suggested that Kaylee lay on her belly & I would lay Keira on her belly and she could show sissy all the pictures in the book.  So we did that and Kaylee turned all the pages and told Keira what everything was in the book

I love watching my girls together, it just makes my day and makes me that much more thankful to my hubby for allowing me to stay home with my girls so that I don't miss moments like this!

The sun is shining & it's a beautiful day outside.  This was day 2 of the girls letting mommy sleep in.  We got up at 8:15 and headed downstairs.  We got ready to run to the grocery store cause I needed to pick up a few things and get some stamps before the mail man came today, I needed to get Kaylee's birthday invitations out.  Once we got back Kaylee wanted to go play outside.  First she said she wanted to cheese with sissy. 

I put both of them on the couch to take some pictures of them together and to my surprise they turned out so cute!  Kaylee is becoming so sweet with Keira and wanting to help do stuff for her and try and play with her.

Kaylee decided she was done with pictures and was yelling at me from the screen door saying "come on mama, outside play"  But first we took some smily pictures of sissy!

At this point is was 11:30 and Keira was ready to go down for a nap, so I put Keira down for a nap first and then Kaylee & I headed out back.  She ran around and played with the dogs!  She always has so much fun when outside.  Her new favorite thing is to sit on these rocks in the backyard.

The rest of the day we spent hanging out around the house playing with toys and playing outside.  We're hoping that our pool gets fixed this week so that we can go swimming cause it's going to be HOT!  Tomorrow the girls and I are going to run some errands to get the last minture decor that I need for her party.  I'll get the food a day or two before her party.  I cant believe her birthday & party are literally right around the corner.

Family Day

This day started off GREAT, tthe girls both slept in till 8:30.  Keira woke up at 3am to eat and then went right back to sleep.  It's always nice when I'm able to sleep in a little bit.

Last week we emptied our pool out cause it was yucky.  So this morning since it was such a nice day we all headed outside.  Daddy, Uncle Josh & Uncle Jake cleaned all the leaves out of the pool and pressure washed it out.  Gettin it ready for Kaylee's party!  It's suppose to be 80 degrees for Kaylee's party.  Starting today the weather is suppose to be between 75 & 85.  YAY is all I have to say, I love the warm weather and so does Kaylee cause that means she gets to go outside and play.

While the boys cleaned the pool the girls and I just hung out...Keira sat in her bouncy seat and Kaylee colored with her chalk, chased the dogs and played with her bubble machine that Mimi got her for Easter.  This things blows some really BIG bubbles!  Kaylee loved it.

Since Keira slept in this morning she has decided that she doesn't need to take a nap today.  She's probably took about a 30 minute nap.  Usually at this time she's still sleeping.  Around 12 is when she goes down for her 2-3 hour nap, nope not today!  Kaylee is sleeping and Keira is wide awake playing on the floor, not starting to get a little fussy!!

Kaylee was having a good time tagging up the back yard with her chalk.  He drew on everything including the dogs, the side walk, the screen door, the rocks & even the bench.  She loves to play with her chalk.  Now with the weather back to being nice again we can go outside and play chalk all day! (don't mind Kaylee's messy hair, we got up and just went out to play not worrying about what we looked like)

More pool cleaning and the dogs decided to help this time! LOL

Keira decided to play when she should of been sleeping.  But she's just oh so cute that I just let her play and 20 minutes later she fell asleep!  And when she fell asleep Kaylee woke up, so I didn't get my ME time!  Oh well.  After the pool cleaning was done, the boys headed to the Bethany Reservior to do a little jet sking.  Once daddy gets back we are heading to WalMart to pick up Kaylee's birthday invitations so that I can mail them out tomorrow.  I cant believe her party is almost here already.  I've been making my list's on all the stuff that I need to get/make.  I'm going to be making all the cupcakes for her party the night before and icing them in the morning.  I have to make like 70 cupcakes!  I just ordered Kaylee's big top cupcake, which is one of those HUGE cupcakes.  So I think she'll be pretty excited when she see's it.  I'm going to have a hard time keeping her away from it until it's time to sing!

While the boys have fun, Mommy will be doing loads of laundry and putting it all away!  I don't mind doing laundry, I HATE putting it all away.  I also need to go through Keira's clothes again, her 3 month stuff is starting to get to tight!  Time to sell it, so that I can go buy more clothes or things they need!

6 week 6 pack abs

I started working out about a month ago doing P90X (only abs and legs) cause those are the areas that I wanted to mainly focus on.  So I decided that it wasn't really working for me, so I wanted something more fun.  I know what your thinking...who the hell has fun working out.  I like my work outs to be interested and different.  After much research, well not really...I decided that I needed the help from none other than Jillian Michaels, she's trainer from the Biggest Loser who has the BEST abs I've ever seen.

I've decided that I'm going to take weekly pictures to see my progress.

Current Weight: 118lbs

My goal when I first started working out was to get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 115lbs.  I'm 3lbs away from that, but I'm not really focused so much on losing those last 3lbs as getting my ass toned back up.  After having kids your skin doesn't look good like it use to!  To be honest looking at my tummy, yes flat it still looks gross when you really look at it.  I'm not trying to fish for compliments.  I just want to feel confident again.  Since having my babies I haven't felt confident, I feel run down.  Looking back at pictures of myself then and now I wonder why my hubby is still with me! haha I look like a train wreck.  Most days you can find me with my semi greasy hair pulled back, in my spit up pajama's attending to my kids.  Since I'm a stay at home mom somtimes I feel like why do I need to get all dressed up nice with my hair & make up done if I'm not leaving my house!  Do I need to look dolled up for my kids?  Do they care what I look like?   NO but I should care, I mean my kids are dressed better than me!

So I'm going to make a change, I'm going to do my work outs 5 days a week, start eating better and trying to not look like a train wreck!!  So I'll be doing weekly updates on my 6 pack ab progress.  Thanks for listening to me vent.

On a much different note:

Our Saturday was spent visiting Jason's cousin in the hospital.  He got in a bad dirt bike accident on Thursday night.  I am so glad that he is ok.  He broke # 9 & 10 disk in his back, broke 2 ribs, needs to get a pin in his wrist, got a fractured skull and a semi callapsed lung.  I know your reading this saying OMG he's lucky to be alive....and I would have to agree.  We are all thankful that it didn't turn out worse.

Kaylee drew cousin Justin a get well soon sign and he was so happy when I gave it to him.  Since he's in the ICU they don't let kids go in so I thought having her make him a sign would lift his spirits.

Tomorrow it's suppose to be 77 degrees out so we might be heading to splash around at the lake.  Our pool is under construction at the moment.  We're hoping to get it fixed soon cause the 80 degree days are coming!

Saturday Morning Scene

Our Saturday morning is pretty low key, Keira let me sleep in a little bit, which is always nice!  So we headed downstaires to feed my hungry baby her rice cereal...YUMMY

 Kaylee is watching TOY STORY 3 for like the 49540954095th  time in the last 2 days!  I think I have that movie almost memorized.  When it's over she wants to watch it again and again and again!  I think Mommy needs a little break from Toy Story 3 and we need to pick a new disney movie.  She also found a box of peanut butter crackers that she opened herself to munch on while watching her movie

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Not to sure what our plans are for the rest of the day.  I will probably be cleaning our house and doing laundry.  Gotta get this house in tip top shape for Kaylee's birthday party on May 14th!  I'll probably head out and get some stuff I need for her party too.  Tonight Kaylee is going to Grandma Sid's to spend the night.
