Kaylee's preschool fashion wish list

With Kaylee's preschool year is fastly approaching I've been checking out some of our favorite stores to get some ideas on to keep her hip this school year.  Girls clothes are sooooo much fun and I love dressing the girls in cute clothes.

So while the girls played some what nicely this morning I did some online wish list shopping for Kaylee for this school year.  We'll see if I actually buy her any of the stuff on the wish list.  But there is some really cute clothes out there right now.  I might need to get a job just so I can buy the girls cute clothes!  LOL

First up is OLD NAVY
I love Old Navy cause their prices aren't to expensive and they have some cute stuff.
I mean how cute are these colored skinny jeans?!

Next up is TARGET
I mean who doesn't love Target.  I walked through Target last night to get diapers and OMG they have started bringing out their fall stuff and  I just couldn't help myself.  I wanted to buy stuff for all 3 of my girls.  So many cute clothes.

And lastly THE CHILDRENS PLACE
I love this store and I usually get a lot of Kaylee's clothes from here.  I love that almost all there tees around $5.00 and they are always sending me coupons in the mail.

So there you have it, Kaylee's preschool wish list.
Super cute stuff right?!

Wednesday Loves

1. BABY K HAS A NAME!
I am LOVING that I'm almost 100% sure we have a first and middle name for our baby girl.  It feels good knowing that we have her name picked. It seems like it's taken us awhile to agree upon a name.  But I knew it would cause Jason is soooooo picky when it comes to picking names.  I thought we would never get her name.  Now we are trying to figure out if we want to tell everyone the name or keep it a secret, but my problem is I don't know if I'll be able to keep it a secret for the next 13 weeks!  Decisions Decisions!!

3. I am LOVING that during my "mommy time" on Monday that I was able to get a lot done around the house.  It made it even nicer to have the hubs come home early from work.  We ate lunch together and then worked on re-arranging our room so that we could get ready to bring in the bassinet.  We made a trip to Target to get new hampers.  I also found while there this super cute cuddly blanket that would be PERFECT for taking baby K's newborn pictures and a sheep skin like rug.  I may need to go back and get them both.

4.  I am LOVING the Bacon Cheddar fries from Jack in the Box.
They have been one of my major pregnancy cravings along with the chocolate shake from there.

5.  I am LOVING the giveaway that I won over at the The Chirping Moms.
Last week she had baby week with a lot of giveaways.  I entered all of them in hopes to win something for baby K.  Well I won the pregnancy belly stickers and monthly stickers for the baby.  I am excited cause I was looking to get the monthly stickers for baby K, so this was a win win.  Here's what I picked.
you can check out the Preppy Chick's etsy shop HERE

6.  I am LOVING these burp cloths that I made on Monday during my "mommy time".  I have a lot of extra fabric lying around and had a hooded towel that I wasn't using so I cut it up and made these burp cloths.  They were really easy to make and I like that I was able to personalize them to my liking.

Crayons & Magic Markers

Kaylee has been taking around a 2 hour nap on days that she doesn't have school so Thursday - Sunday.  She usually wakes up before Keira does, so in that time I try to find productive things for her to do while I finish doing the things I'm doing while they nap.

For her birthday she got money and with that money she picked out some coloring books, new crayons and this Toy Story Magic Marker coloring book.  She decided she wanted to color with her crayons and Cars coloring book first.  She colored in that for a good 30 minutes before wanting to open her Magic Marker kit.

Once she was done with the crayons she put them back in the box and asked if she could open her new coloring stuff.  So I opened it all for her and showed her how it worked.  She thought it was the greatest thing ever.  You take the marker and color on the paper and it appears.  She colored almost every page in that book and loved watching the colors appear as she colored with the majic pens.  It was so cute to watch her get so excited.  The nice thing about these markers is that they ONLY work on this coloring book.  So there is NO unexpected coloring on things that shouldn't be colored on.

Cherishing Each Moment

With 90 days left till baby K's arrival I feel that it's necassary to cherish the little moments with the girls.  Being able to be with them in the backyard and watch them play is one of those moments I'd like to cherish.  I know once little sister arrives its going to be harder to give the girls all my attention that they get now.  I find it important to make sure they don't feel left out.

On Friday (8-3-12) before nap time and before it got way to hot to be outside, I rinsed off the girls play area and asked them if they wanted to go outside and play.  Of course they screamed YES.  So I made a deal with them, I was going to finish sweeping the kitchen and they needed to take all their toys from the living room and put them away in their room in order for us to go outside.  Which they did with a quickness.  After the cleaning up and sweeping was done we put our shoes on and headed outside.  We did go play outside in our diaper because it was still hot outside and well because the girls wanted to.  Kaylee woke up with just her undies on and since Keira has to be just like Kaylee she wanted her jammies off too.  We headed out back around 11 to wear them out before nap at 12.

On Thursday (8-2-12) afternoon after Jason got home from work we all hung out as a family and played and then he had to go run a few errands and decided to take Kaylee with him.  I got her dressed and ready and then left.  Kaylee loves that one on one time with daddy.  Keira of course was not happy that she didn't go, but we had a good time spending that time just her and I.  I love being able to have that one on one time with her.  We brushed our teeth and I gave her a bath.  We read books and snuggled on the couch to watch cartoons until daddy got home. (I tried my hardest to be in the moment with her even though I felt like total crap with a bad sinus infection - daddy went later that night to get my Rx...feeling awesome now).

"May your day be filled with gigles"

This quote just makes my day.  I hope that every morning I continue to wake up to giggles coming from the girls room.  Hearing them giggle just makes my mom heart burst with joy!

Lately I often find that I'm comparing myself with other moms.  I'm 27 weeks pregnant and I've become really hard on myself for not getting out more and taking the girls to the park and stuff like that.  I'm finding it hard to lift them especially Kaylee into the car and it's been so hot that the last thing I want to do is be pregnant and sweating outside.  But I feel bad because most days we stay home.  We play games, the girls play by themselves and watch cartoons.  Not being able to do more stuff with them right now makes me feel like I'm cheating them.  I don't want them to feel like that.  I'm hoping that now that I'm sinus infection free and feeling like myself again I hope to be able to get out and do more things outdoors with them.

So for the next 90 days I'm going to be more present and not make up excuses on why I cant do something.  I don't want my kids to feel like they cant have fun with their mommy.  I want them to be able to say they had fun that day with me when daddy asks how their day was.  I am going to enjoy every minute of everyday a little extra with these girls before it becomes even more crazy with the arrival of their little sister.

27 week bumpdate

How far along? 27 weeks
Weight Gain/Loss: I've gained a total of 15 lbs so far
Maternity clothes? nope still yoga pants and tank tops or my pajama bottoms
Stretch marks? no new ones!
Sleep: it was good until I got a stuffy nose and then a cough, so I started taking medicine which took the cough away.  Then 2 days ago I started to feel like crap and my sinus were hurting like a sinus infection.  So I called my dr yesterday afternoon and told her my symptoms and she wrote me a Rx.  But since taking that medicine last night I had a GREAT nights sleep, the best I've had in a long time.
Best moment this week: that Jason and I agreed on the baby's name.  Now were just trying to decide on a middle name.
Miss Anything? just feeling like myself!
Movement: lots of movement, kicks and I even hiccups. The hiccups always feel so weird.
Anything making you queasy or sick: I gagged while taking my medicine last night
Gender: GIRL

Labor Signs: None.
Symptoms: Belly Button in or out? In the middle (its not really in but its not out)
Wedding rings on or off? On
Mood: Happy
Looking forward to: picking the baby's middle name, spending time together as a family and almost being into the 3rd trimester!  Moving our room around and getting the bassinet all set up in a couple weeks.  I need to wash all her clothes, sheets and car seat & swing cover.  I know 90 days or less are going to go by fast and I hate to wait till the last minute to do things so all these will probably be done this weekend...haha jk.
How the siblings are doing: the girls have been pretty much the same. Kaylee asked me the other day if baby sissy is going to come out of my mouth?  I had to laugh and say no and then tell her she's going to come out of my belly button.  What do you tell your 3 year old when they ask that?!  haha

A few Wednesday Loves

1.  I am LOVING that daddy is home and so are the girls.  I wish I would have gotten their reaction on video, cause it was the cutest thing ever.  I may have even gotten teary eyed when they went running out to him calling his name.  Melt my mama heart into a million pieces.  I was very happy to see him as well and am really glad he only goes on those types of trips once a year.

2.  I am LOVING that we are pretty much prepaired for baby K to arrive.  Yesterday morning the girls and I made a trip to Target to get the last little bit of stuff that we needed for her.  Tomorrow there will only be 90 days or less till her arrival.  I cant believe were like 90 days out, that seems so soon!  She might need a few more outfits/sleepers and more diapers but I think other than that she's set for a little bit.  I'm thinking since she'll be born before Christmas that she'll just ask for gift cards so that I can get her things she needs as we go.   I do want to make her 2 more blankets.  I found the cutest little birdie fabric at JoAnns in their weekly add that I want to get and I think I want to use minky fabric on the next blankets.

3.  I am LOVING that I found a great deal on etsy to get 3 lace petti rompers for $30.  This is awesome cause now I can order the girls rompers for their sibling pictures after baby K gets here.  I've decided to go with the colors TURQUOISE, WATERMELON & WHITE.  These will go nicely together in pictures and I can also use the pom poms in their room as props.  I cant wait!  I've been pinning so many ideas from Pinterest.

4. I am LOVING that we're getting back into our normal routine now that daddy is back and the girls behavior has greatly improved since daddy has been back.  It's so nice to not have as much back talking or fighting going on.  The girls still have their moments where they are equally mean to each other which we are working on.  I'm looking into signing the girls up for ballet class together.  They both love to dance and I think they would have a great time.  I mean how cute are little girls in leotards, tights and little ballet shoes?!

5.  I am LOVING that on Monday's I get a mommy break. An 8 hour mommy break to be exact. The girls go with Jason's mom from 12-8 which gives this mama time all to herself and then time to spend with my sweet hubby.  It gives Jason and I a chance to have date night or run any type of errands.  This past Monday I had to take my glucose test which took a little longer than normal and by the time I made it home I saw the girls for about 45 mintues before they left.  I would like to go get a pedicure on one of my mommy Monday's (it would be my first one ever!)

6.  I am LOVING that the girls room is almost done being decorated.  Here are the two pictures I've decided I'm going to use above the girls bed, I'm gonna get these in a 20x30.  Once I get these printed and hung their room will be done and I'll be able to show you all what it looks like complete.  I'm still trying to decide if we should transition Keira into her big girl bed before or after the baby comes.  Any suggestions?  The baby will be born sometime around Novemeber 2nd.  Keira will be turning 2 November 29th.  I'm not sure what to do.  We already have her bed and she was going to get it for her birthday from Jason's dad.  I will be changing out the pictures in their room in the frames already once we take sibling pictures and pictures alone.
