This is our life {week 1}

I decided as one of my 2013 goals was to take out my big camera and take pictures of the girls and the everyday things that go on in our life.  I've been following Annie's blog Paint the moon  for a long time and when she came up with a 52 week challenge, all about Lifestyle photos, I knew I wanted to join.  I attempted last year to do her 52 week photo challenge but FAILED.  I would really like to grow as a photographer and thought this would be the perfect way to do it.

I think by doing this it will help me to take those pictures that I will cherish.

{Week 1 = Nightly Rituals}

One of our nightly rituals that I love is reading to the girls each night before they go to bed.  We all gather in the girls room.  I hold the baby while the girls sit on Kaylee's bed with daddy and listen to the book.  Once the book is over we give hugs and kisses and say good night.  I love that it gives us the opporunity to all be together.

Life Lately with lots of pictures!

LIFE LATELY...

 

* This last week we've been trying to get back into our "normal" routine.

 

* Kaylee started back at Preschool this morning and she was very excited about it. Before leaving the house this morning Kaylee asked if I would take a picture of her.  Then Keira joined in on the fun.

 

* This week daddy has been working in town and that means the girls get to visit with him in the morning and sometimes meet up for lunch

 

* Kendall has been sleeping through the night for the past 2 weeks and it has been AWESOME! She goes to bed around 9-9:30 and sleeps till about 7-7:30.  

 

 

* I think I have finally found a spot for all the girls Christmas gifts and clothes.  I've gotten all my Christmas stuff taken down, which makes me sad.  I wish I could leave it up all year long.

* Kaylee has been enjoying her new xmas gifts from Mimi and us.  Mimi got her a dry erase tracing book that she's been practing with (she's done such a good job) and we got her a magnetic shapes thing that she loves.

* Last Friday Kaylee woke up getting sick or as she calls it "drooling".  This is her 2nd time ever throwing up.  I am happy to say that it only last a couple hours and she was back to normal after a good nap.

*On Monday Miss Kendall had her 2 month check up.  I was not looking foward to this appointment cause she would be getting her 1st set of shots and I hate hearing my babies cry in pain.  She did pretty well.

* Keira has really been into taking pictures lately.  It's so cute.  Anytime I get the camera out and runs over to the floor lays down and puts her hands under her chin and then says "mom cheese!"

* On Monday after Kendall's dr's appt we headed out to spend the day shopping!  We went to Macy's to return some stuff and pick up stuff, then made a stop at The Children's Place (they are having an awesome sale right now, I picked up some stuff for Kendall $10.), after the childrens place we made our way to Victoria's Secret for the semi annual sale where I picked up some stuff.  We headed back to the car where I fed Kendall and then we headed to Target.  I love that store and had a feild day in there shopping for some new clothes for myself and Kendall got a few new toys with a gift card she got for Christmas.  Then we headed to WalMart to do some grocery shopping & I also picked up shirts for the girls for Valentine's Day.  We had a great day of shopping together.

 

Christmas Day 2012

Christmas morning started out great, the girls slept in since they didn't take a nap the day before. 

I checked on the girls who were quietly playing in their room, which rarely happens.

They were both on Kaylee's bed under the covers pretending they were ghosts.

It was very cute to see, cause most of the time they are arguing!  LOL

I got ready and then got both girls ready and then got the baby ready.

Jason then loaded the car with the gifts from us.

We loaded the girls all up and headed to Jason's aunt Rhonda's house for Jess Family Christmas.

The girls had a great time and got very spoiled!

I wanted to get some pictures of the girls before leaving and a picture of the girls & I

Once we got to Auntie Rhonda's we had some yummy breakfast and had a great time visiting with family.  The girls were excited to open presents.  They all got a lot of great stuff.

After taking family pictures we loaded everything up and said our good byes.

We were then headed to Jason's moms house.

The girls always have a great time at grandma's house.

We had ham for dinner with brusslesprouts, potatos and rolls.

For dessert it was a pick between pumpkin pie & berry pie.

After eating we then all gathered around the tree and seperated all the presents.

The girls were excited to open their presents

We then said our good byes and headed home so we could skype with my mom.

She sent presents for the girls all the way from CO.

So we skyped so that she could watch them open their gifts.

All in all we had a great Christmas!
