 I will be taking half the money I make from these sales and donating it to National Down Syndrome Society.  DS hits close to home for my family as my little brother was born with DS and any way I can give back I will.

Jess Wedding: The Ceremony

As 5:00pm approached I still wasn't nervous, the guests were being seated, the bridal party was lining up and I was still cool as a cucumber.  But that quickly changed as the each person from our bridal party left to walk down the isle.  As I stood in the door way before walking out for everyone to see me, that's when the nerves set in and all I could do was breathe in and out {I felt like I needed to throw up} 

The venue director said it was our turn, I squeezed my dad's arm and he said "well this is it".  We walked out and everyone stood up.  The only thing I kept telling myself was don't fall and don't throw up!  As we approach the straight away to walk towards Jason, all I could do was stare straight ahead at him.  There were so many thoughts running through my mind as I walked down 1). I cant believe this day is finally happening 2).  don't fall 3).  try and remember each memory of tonight cause it will pass by so fast.

The ceremony was short and sweet just how we wanted it, it was perfect.

Jess Wedding: The Details

 I know every bride wants all the little details of there wedding to be perfect and I wasn't any different.  I took to Pinterest to get many ideas.  I went back and forth on some ideas I had, at first I thought I wanted bright colors {mason jars different colors & different colored flowers} But the more I thought about it bright colors reminded me of a spring or summer wedding and I was getting married in the winter time.

I went back to pinterest and came across a inspiration board on there with the colors gold, gold glitter, black and white.  I wanted to add a pop of color so I went with Kelly green.  As I searched pinterest I was able to get so many ideas and I did a lot of DIY stuff for our wedding.  I wanted those personal touches and stuff that I loved as part of my wedding.  I knew I wanted mason jars, so I spray painted gold on some and then on the others I glittered them up, I also spray painted wine bottles but the day of the wedding I forgot them at my MIL's house and I was so mad.  But all the details came together and it turned out perfect.

Thank you to my bestie Jen for coming to the florist with me and helping me pick out the perfect flowers for mine & my bridesmaids bouquets and all the centerpiece flowers.  I just love how everything turned out, it was how I envisioned it in my head! 

Jess Wedding: The Private Reveal

Jason and I went back and forth on whether or not we were going to do a private reveal before the ceremony.  I said yes only because of the time that the ceremony was and that it would be dark before the ceremony ended.  I was more worried about getting pictures of us and our bridal party and family over anything.  So Jason agreed and I am so glad we did the private reveal.

Walking out to see Jason, I got butterflies just like I did when we were dating.  I was a little nervous and just really hoped he liked my whole look.  His back was to me as I walked out.  My cousin Brittney and my friend Jen came out with me to witness the reveal {they were back hiding}

As I approached him I couldn't wait to see him decked out in his tux and see how handsome he was.
