Fall has finally arrived in CA

* I thought maybe fall was gonna pass us up this year.

Here in CA it's been so hot up until yesterday where the weather cooled off dramatically and it even rained.

Rain is on the forcast for today and LOTS of it tomorrow.

Then the weather will stay around 76, until next week when it drops to 67.

* This weekend should be really nice for when we take our family pictures.

We're going up to Jason's grandparents ranch to take our pictures, I cant wait.

They live on 700+ acres with barns, lush trees, creeks & cool old buildings.

So we should be able to get some awesome pictures!  I'm excited

* Next weekend we plan to take the girls to the pumpkin patch

Where we will pick our pumpkins, walk through the petting zoo & maybe even a hay ride

I cant wait to see Kaylee this year cause she's older and is so excited with all the halloween stuff. She's been caring around a pumpkin basket all week saying "trick treat" I think this year instead of carving all of our pumpkins we might do something different and do this

* Yesterday the girls and I started working on a craft that we're going to give Jason's grandparents for Christmas, it turned out so cute.  I can't show it until after Christmas cause his grandparents look at the blog.  So I will keep you in suspense until then.

* I am slowly decorating for Fall/Halloween.  Yesterday when Jason's mom dropped off the girls she bought us some really cute Halloween dish towels, they are now hanging on the stove.  I have a few things that I want to print out and frame. I will be doing a few more crafts with the girls to decorate more.  We'll be doing these.  I decided that Monday's would be craft day.  So every Monday we are going to do some kind of craft together.  Isn't the rock spiders so cute.

 

  

* Yesterday the girls & I went to our playgroup, we haven't been to a play date in quite awhile.  So I thought it would be fun plus it was at the park around the corner from our house.  But it wasn't very fun.  Kaylee tried to talk to some of the little kids and they didn't want to play back or they would run off, which upset her.  Plus the moms have already like formed their little clicks and it just feels weird and unwelcoming.  So I don't think we will be attending anymore play dates.  It sucks cause I want Kaylee to be able to play with kids her own age but this playgroup wasn't for us.  Maybe we'll look for a different one.

* Keira has been sleeping GREAT!  It has been so awesome to get my sleep back!  Naps on the other hand are a different story.  She has been taking shorter naps which leaves me no time to do anything.  Her naps use to be 2 hours each nap and now they are about an hour.  The girls went down for a nap at the same time yesterday and I only got an hour break from both of them before they were both up!  Maybe this is Keira's way of cutting out one of her naps and only wanting to take one long one!  In some ways I think she still needs 2 naps but I don't know.

* Kaylee is having a little problem with pottying these days.  She's has been having accidents in her pants.  She isn't telling me that she has to go potty and she isn't going on her potty by herself like she use to!  I don't know why she isn't but let me tell you how frusterating it is!  She use to be so good and now somedays it's like we're pottying training from the very beginning.  I've been told this is normal and it happens, but I don't understand how she can do so good for months and then all of sudden just STOP and have multiple accidents a day.  But the even wierder thing is she go pee when were out or if were at someone else's house, she only has the accidents and doesn't say anything when were at home!

* Keira is becoming my human garbage disposal just like her sister.  She will drink an 8oz bottle and then want to go and eat Kaylee's snack (cheerios, kix & fish).  She wants to eat everything that we're eating.  She LOVES rice and has eaten small pieces of chicken.  She is doing really well.  I was worried about giving her table food cause she only has 2 teeth on the bottom but her top L tooth has popped through and the top R is about to pop through any day.  YAY  The even better thing is that even though she's teething she's still been sleeping through the night. Double YAY!

* I am loving this fall weather it means I get to get out my sweatshirts, warm blankets and comfy slippers. I wish that my parents had a fireplace in their house.  Since my parents moved in Dec 2010 to CO we moved into their house and have been living here.  We're saving up our money for when we buy our house, which hopefully we will start looking in Jan. 2012.

* I have already started making my Christmas list and what we plan to get everyone.  I love Christmas time.  I cant wait to decorate the tree with the girls this year, hopefully Keira will leave it alone!  I found this really cute idea on pinterest, I think we'll start doing this every year.  It will be really cool to see how much the girls have grown each year.

 

* We had a really lazy weekend.  Friday night Kaylee stayed at Grandma's.  So daddy went to Besy Buy and bought the new Transformers movie, so Keira went to bed and we had alone time watching the movie.  Then Saturday daddy headed out to his friends house to play RC cars, the girls & I stayed home.  I cleaned and waited for Kaylee to get home.  We hung out and played.  Then Sunday daddy had to work half the day so the girls and I just relaxed again being LAZY hanging out in our pjs all day.  Keira & I took a nap together on the recliner.  It was nice!

 

* Jason & I had date night last night.  The girls left and I finished getting ready.  We ran some work errands and then came back into to town and had dinner at Chili's.  We ran into some friends there.  It was really nice to go out just the two of us.  It feels like its been forever since we've gone out just the two of us.  It was a lot of fun and we will continue to do it.
