Christmas 2011 {Part 1}

Since we have a lot of family to visit over the holidays we do celebrating on both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.  Usually we have 5 stops between the two days, but we had one less stop this year since my parents have moved to CO.  It was wierd not spending Christmas with them, we've not spent a Christmas with my parents.

Friday night I went to bed around 10:00 cause I knew we had a big day ahead of us on Saturday.  But I don't know if I was just excited or what was going on cause I didn't end up falling asleep until a little after 12 and then was awake at 6am!  SERIOUSLY!  But I was able to fall back to sleep for an hour in a half before getting up to get myself ready while the girls were still sleeping.

After I was done getting ready I went into the girls room to see if they were awake and to get them ready.  The girls were in such good moods, which is always nice.  We were going to have a good day.  I got them dressed in their cute matching Christmas jammies, we took family pictures in front of the tree, we loaded the truck with our presents and we couldn't forget to leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer!  We then headed to Jason's moms house for breakfast and presents.

While Grandpa was finishing up cooking breakfast Kaylee helped daddy put the presents into everyone's spot.  We ate breakfast then all gathered around to open presents.  Keira isn't a big present opener, so I opened her presents for her and showed them to her.  She loved her books.  Kaylee on the other hand is so much fun to watch.  The ohh's and ahh's and the oh my goodnesses are just to cute.  She got a lot of cute and fun stuff

She played with some of her toys before we said our good byes and headed home for the girls to take a nap.  We had my dad and step mom coming over for dinner and more presents.

 To Kaylee's surprise when we returned home SANTA had come, the reindeer made a mess on the floor while eating their carrots...which Kaylee wasn't to happy about.  The girls went down for a nap and I unloaded all of our gifts and relaized that we need more storage for all these toys the girls now have!

Once the girls woke up from their nap, they played with their toys for a little bit.  My dad and step mom arrived around 3.  We passed out presents, the girls were opening presents from us, my brother, my dad and my mom.  My mom had sent the girls presents when my step dad had come for a visit.  Earlier in the week Keira opened one of Kaylee's presents from Mimi (my mom).  A very cute shirt my mom made with matching leggings.  Up until yesterday Keira had stayed away from the tree and left the presents alone, well yesterday she would pick up a wrapped red presents addressed to her from my mom and held it hostage.  She would not let this present go for anything!  She would hold onto the present and play
.
