Ok I'm gonna get serious for a second.
After we had Keira, Jason & I talked about him getting the snip (you know a vasectomy)
Well as you can see he never went and had it done cause hello I'm pregnant with baby #3.
Now that baby #3 is due to make her appearance around Novemeber
We've been talking whether he should get a vasectomy or if I should get the tubal sterilization.
We talked and decided that it would be better for me to get the tubal.
You know what the worst thing you can do is go watch videos on how they do it.
I've never had surgery before and the thought is freaking me out.
It seems like an easy surgery, they can do the surgery the day after I have Kendall
Making 2 little slits under my belly button, they will cut my tubes and cauterize them.
What makes me the most nervous is if I'll have to go under general anesthesia or if I'll have to have an epidural to numb me up. When delivery both my girls I never got an epidural cause they freak me out to much. So I've been stressing out a little bit thinking about all of this.
I'm sure I'm the only one who's had this done, if you've had it done any advise would be much appriciated! I'm getting my tubes tied cause we are totally done having babies. 3 is a good number for us and I know I wont regret getting it done.
I dont know, even though this is my 3rd pregnancy I am still really nervous about delivery and with her due date fastly approaching I'm getting even more nervous onto of being nervous about having my tubes tided. I'm nervous of the unknown cause every delivery is different. I don't know maybe I'm worrying to much and it will all be fine.

On a lighter note Kaylee has been in school for 4 days now.
She LOVES it!
I knew she would.
Tonight is back to school night for the parents, so Jason & I will be going to that.
Doing the drive through and dropping her off is a life saver and I know it will be an even bigger life saver when Kendall arrives cause I wont have to unload the girls out of the car at all. YAY
I am really glad that she is liking it and I cant wait to see all the new things she learns this year.

Keira is on day 4 of learning & one on one time with mommy.
We do about 30-45 minutes of learning each day, cause any more than that she starts to not want to sit and learn anymore. So instead of forcing her I just let her do her own thing after the 30 minutes. I don't want her to lose interest and not want to do it at all.
* She knows where all her body parts are
* We've been working on colors and in 4 days she knows BLACK & RED
* She can do all of her puzzles with NO problems
* Next week we will be working on numbers and shapes while still working on colors
I am really proud of her and I also love the time that we get to spend together.
She is seriously a funny kid!

The other day during nap time I decided to redo one of my wreaths in the house, that didn't really match with anything. So I went searching on Pinterest for some ideas on Halloween wreaths. I found one that I really like so I put my little spin on it. I love the way it turned out. I got the little owls at Michael's (they represent my 3 girls). I am slowly starting to decorate for Halloween already!
You are just so talented! I love the wreath!
ReplyDeleteAnd, with everything you have going on right now, I don't think you are worrying too much. I think it's natural. I wish we as moms could go without worrying, but I don't think that will ever happen. :)
Love your wreath! I'm getting so excited about Halloween. I don't have much advice for you on the 1st topic, but whatever you decide will be the right decision for you. Way to go Kaylee and Keira!
ReplyDeleteJohn and I have talked about what we are going to do once we are done having babies (though we have many many years to go before that happens). I personally, can't imagine having anything done that would prevent me from having babies. Maybe when I'm "there" it will be different. But from my understanding the boy procedure is much easier, and easier to recover from. So when the time comes, that is the way we are leaning. Just trust your heart when you get there. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the Halloween wreath!!!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't finished our family yet...but my friends' husbands have done the big V and it seems to have worked great for them.
Your wreath is adorable! Will be praying for you and your peace as you get nearer and nearer due date and surgery date!
ReplyDeleteMy BFF just had her tubes tied after she delivered her 4th child (her and her husband have 6 kids between them - insane!). She was nervous, like you, but said that the procedure was much easier than delivering the baby! She was up walking around the same day.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you in my prayers, though :)
We went back and forth as to whether or not we would go that route. We finally decided against it as we aren't positive that we are done. Who knows how I may feel in five years! I do know a couple of women that have had it done though and they have had no issues. I actually know quite a few that went the Mirena route instead and have had problem after problem so I have no idea as to what we will be doing after little miss makes her appearance.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that wreath! You did such a great job! So glad to see that the girls are loving all of their educational time as well!!
1. love the wreath. totally making one now... thanks for that :)
ReplyDelete2. I'm also copying you on the educational time with the kids. I love that idea.
3. About your tubes being tied, I only know one friend that has had it done and it was the day after she had her son. I think her recovery was a little harder but I know you will be ok!!
