Top 13 favorite pictures of 2013

Here are my top 13 favorite pictures of 2013
It was really hard to narrow the thousands of pictures I took this year to just 13.
2013 was a great year for our family and I cant wait to see what 2014 has in store.

In 2013 I celebrated my last year in my 20s, Kaylee celebrated her 4th birthday, Jason popped the question & I of course said YES!, Kaylee started her 2nd year of Preschool and loved it, Keira celebrated her 3rd birthday, we went to the beach house for a week, we went to Disneyland for the first time as a family, Kendall celebrated her 1st birthday, Jason got a new awesome job that would be taking our family to the Lone Star State (Texas).  It has been a year full of memories and I hope to make many, many, many more memories in 2014 as a family together.

In no particular order here are my favorites....

Kendall is 14 months old

Kendall Morgan:
The months just seem to fly by faster and faster each month.  Here we are at 14 months old (12.27.13), if we could slow things down mommy would appreciate it.  This age is such a fun age cause your little personality is really starting to shine through.  This month you've become standoffish towards guys (except daddy).  The other day when grandpa came over to drop off Kaylee from school all he did was look at you and say hi and you started crying.  You are a TOTAL mama's girl, you'll want someone else to hold you for literally 5 seconds and then want to come right back to me.  You like to play by yourself (when you get the chance, when your sisters don't come and take whatever your playing with away from you).  Can we make a deal with each other, you stop growing so fast...please.

SLEEPING: You are still a great sleeper.  You sleep 12+ hours a night, I wish your sisters slept that long.  Everyone goes to bed at 8pm and for the past couple months you have been waking up around 8-8:30.  You finally knocked off your 3rd nap you would take around 5 and are now only taking 2 naps.  You go down for your first nap around 9:30 to 11:30 and then we'll get up change your diaper, you'll eat lunch and then play for a little bit and then will go back down for your second nap at 12:30 or 1:00 and sleep till like 4.

PERSONALITY: Baby girl you have become such a funny little girl.  Always finding ways to make your mama or sisters laugh.  You absolutely love to play peek a boo.  You are just the sweetest little girl, my favorite is when I take you out of your crib in the morning and you lay your head on my shoulder and pat my back. (the first time you did it, may have brought tears to my eyes).  You are still such an easy going baby, not as quiet as you use to be.  You are super ticklish all over, I get the biggest belly laughs when I tickle you under your chin.

THINGS I WANT TO REMEMBER:

  • You had pneumonia 12.23.13
  • You have 2 more teeth on the bottom pop through at the same time
  • We found a sippy cup you like (Nuby)
  • You celebrated your 2nd Thanksgiving

Kaylee's Preschool Winter Concert 2013

Last night was Kaylee's last performance with her preschool class before we move.
She didn't attend school that day cause she wasn't feeling good in the morning.
But after nap time she felt better and really wanted to attend the concert, she'd been practicing lots.
Grandma met us at our house after work and we headed over to the school.
We got there early to make sure we found a good parking spot and got a good seat inside.

It was a little crazy once we got inside with all the parents and kids, trying to find seats, trying to figure out where the kids were suppose to go and people in groups talking.  We found a seat towards the back at the end of the roll, making it easy to exit and so that I could stand up and record her singing without being in anyone's way.

Before we left the house I wanted to get some pictures of her.  She's turned into such a ham with all of her poses that she comes up with.  Some of her poses make me laugh.

All the kids were on stage together and they opened the concert by singing Let It Snow.

I love how excited she was when she spotted us in the audience

After the kids opened the show together each class would go up to the front and sing two songs.  Kaylee's class was the third class to sing and they sang - Up On The House Top & Faliz Navidad. (sorry in advance for the shaky video skills, I had my bigger lens on the camera and I was standing up holding the camera up)

Early Christmas celebration with daddy

This year Christmas was different than any Christmas we've celebrated before.
Daddy got his new job and started the end of October.
We went 34 days before we got to see daddy.
We decided when he was home on his week long break that we would celebrate Christmas then.
We celebrated as a family on Dec 1st morning.  The girls and I made cookies and set them out for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
We exchanged present with each other this year, usually we don't and we buy just for the girls.
The girls got brand new faux leather chairs from us and a train table from Santa.
The train table has been the best gift by far, all 3 girls play with it all day long.  The baby likes to take the tracks apart but that's ok.
Although we celebrated different this year and I'm sure it's not going to be the last time, it was nice to be together as a family.  We didn't get to do some of our traditions like we did last year.  But there is always next year.

Keira is rubbing Kendall's back, so sweet

My tree in the past has been red and silver.  I changed our colors this year based on this nutcracker.

These chairs are awesome.  The baby loves that she can climb on her chair and get down by herself.  These are so much easier to clean and so far the girls have kept them clean!

On Saturday Dec 7th we celebrated Christmas with Jason's mom, step dad, brothers and sister in law.  The girls spent the night at grandma's the night before and they were excited to see us when we came that afternoon.  We had Chinese food for lunch and after lunch we exchanged gifts.  It was great to spend time together as a family.  I'm going to miss that when we move to Texas.

At Jason's mom we open gifts youngest to oldest.
