Backyard Fun

We had a fun weekend around our house.

Friday night Jason, Kendall and I met some friends at a mexican resturant for dinner {the older girls were at grandma's}  It was nice to get out of the house and have some adult conversation and eat some good food.  After dinner we headed back to our friends house to hang out.  We watched the first half hour of Gold Rush and then headed home cause the baby was ready for bed.  After putting the baby to bed I made some hot chocolate and Jason & I snuggled on the couch to watch the last half hour of Gold Rush and then watched Bearing Sea Gold before heading to bed.

Saturday morning we woke up and got ready, we were going to pick up the girls from Grandma's house and then head to cousin Elli's birthday party.  It was at an indoor bounce house place.  The girls had a good time.  They played and ate some lunch beforing singing to the birthday girl and then heading home to take a nap.  Once the girls woke up we got ready and then headed out to our friends house in Brentwood.  We all had a great time {there were 4 women, 4 guys & 8 kids there}.  Again it was really nice to have some adult conversation and the girls had a good time playing.

Since we had such a busy day both Friday and Saturday I knew that Sunday would be our day to relax and relax we did.  We didn't get out of our pajamas and sometimes I like it that way.  The first part of the morning we just hung out and watched The Land Before Time {I had no idea there were so many Land Before Time movies made - 13 of them}.  So the girls are hooked and loved the movie {no we didn't watch all 13 of them!}.  The girls ate some lunch and then went down for a nap.  Kaylee slept good but Keira decided she would much rather play then take a nap!  Once up from their nap I decided that they needed to burn off some energy so we went to the backyard for some fun.  It was kinda chilly out so we put on our jackets and went out for some fun!  Even Miss Kendall enjoyed her 2nd time on the swings.  She loves it.  The girls made lots of trips down the slide, threw the ball to Kona and Kaylee picked some lemons.  After outside we then came back in to relax before dinner and then bed.  We had a great weekend!
