Spring has sprung...

All I can say is thank goodness!  This week the weather is suppose to be absolutely perfect, perfect like in the high 70's / low 80s.  Awesome right?!
On Sunday {Feb 10th} afternoon after the girls woke up from their nap we decided to head to the park for some family fun.  Kaylee wanted to bring her bike, so we made a pit stop by WalMart to get her a helmet.  Everyone waited in the car while just Kaylee and I went in.  We made it to the helmet section, which there wasn't a lot to choose from.  Kaylee had 3 choices Dora, Barbie or Princesses...she went with Dora.  Plus it matched her bike the best.  For her 2nd birthday my brother bought her bike, well he didn't like all the crazy colors on it so he stripped it down and painted the frame black, leaving some pink and white on it. {its totally cute}.  After paying for her helmet, she was so excited to get back into the car so that she could show daddy her helmet and bell that came with it.

We got to the park and unloaded the girls and the dogs.  There is a long cement walk way to get to the park and big field so Kaylee rode her bike while the rest of us walked.  {she needs a little help with watching where she's going & steering.  She doesn't get to ride her bike a whole lot cause we live on the corner of a busy street & our backyard is kinda small} Once we got the park, she parked her bike in the grass and the girls played on the slide for a little bit before we headed over to the big field to throw the ball to the dogs.

People may have thought we were a little weird cause the girls like us to throw the ball and they chase after it.  Jason said "it looks like were playing fetch with our kids, people are gonna think were wierdos!"  But the girls like it and it wears them out, so I say who cares!  We were gonna bring our kite but it wasn't quite windy enough for it.

The girls enjoyed rolling down the hills about a hundred times.
Kendall got to come out of the stroller and enjoy doing some tummy time and watching her sisters play.  She only lasted a few mintues on her tummy before rolling onto her back.

The weather was perfect and since going to the park we have enjoyed being outside every day since then. Being able to spend time as a family is always a good day in my book.  I don't care what we do as a family as long as we are together.
