A letter to my sweet Kendall

Kendall,

It's the beginning of September which means, sweet girl you will be turning ONE next month.  I cant even  begin to describe how fast this year has gone by.  I can remember just like it was yesterday those few days before your birth when I was in the hospital walking the halls cause I thought you were on your way.  But you stayed put nice and warm for 2 more days before making your grand entrance into the world.

My pregnancy with you as well as your birth was so different from your sisters.  You were my fastest delivery, you made me the sickest and you weighed the most.  Its funny to look back on all your births cause Kaylee weighed in at 6lbs 15oz and was 19", Keira was 7lbs 1oz and was 19.5" & then you came along at 7lbs 2oz and 20".

I didn't know what to expect bringing you home from the hospital.  I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to handle all 3 of you and do a good job at it.  I'm still not sure how good of a job I'm doing.  I mean I guess I'm doing an ok job, cause you are learning and growing awesomely.  I am thankful every day for you sweet girl, you are just so calm and so go with the flow.  You hardly ever cry and that's so different from your sisters.  They were criers!

As your growing into such a beautiful and smiley little girl you are learning so much.  You've picked up on sign language so well.  You can say a few words (DADA, BYE BYE, HI, BABA), I have been waiting to hear you say MAMA but no such luck yet.  You have such a fun and bright personality, you can make this mama laugh and I cant get enough of your sweet snuggles.

Sweet girl, thinking of you no longer as a baby makes me sad.  If there was a way to push the pause button I would push it now and let you stay this age for a little while longer.  You are in such a fun stage right now.  I've enjoyed every single minute of watching you grow and I am beyond grateful to be your mama!  You've blessed our family and we couldn't imagine you not here.
