Keira has been on rice cereal for about a month with a little baby food mixed in. I decided to just give her baby food from now on and well it's makes for a good laugh seeing which foods she doesn't really like!
Yesterday she got half a jar of Sweet Potatoes & half jar of pineapple pear which she LOVED both. But today it was carrots & pears, but she had some super funny faces today with the carrots...lets just say she DIDN'T like carrots. When I tried to give her more she started spitting it out!
I've been trying to clean up my house in preperation for Kaylee's birthday party on Saturday, but Kaylee has other plans about keeping her area clean! I pick up her toys and she makes a HUGE mess!!! I usually don't clean up her toys until she goes to bed cause she just takes them all back out again making that HUGE mess all over again.
For the past two days Keira has been playing in her jumperoo and all of a sudden it got quiet and when I looked up she was sleeping. The girl got her work out for the day. It helps get her to sleep longer at night time, it wears her out. She's getting to be so big, I cant believe at the end of this month she's going to be 6 months old already. She's getting to be such a big girl.
Kaylee has been really into coloring lately. Not only in her coloring books but trying to color on anything she can get her hands on. This kid colored on our old garbage can, the top of a tote (sorry Auntie Rhonda), and she colored with pen on the recliner! Little stinker...
Keira is getting to be a big girl. I wish that her sleeping habits would be more consistant! Most of the time she sleeps 9-5 but then there are those nights when she wakes up every 3 hours, OMG!!!!! Last night was one of those up every 3 hour nights. I think it might have a little something to do with her teething.
I don't know if the closer Kaylee gets to her birthday the more of a whinner she becomes, but this last week has really worn me out! She isn't listening, she's screaming & telling me NO to everything and just not being a good girl. Though she does have her good moments where she'll go from super HAPPY to SCREAMING & CRYING. It's driving me bonkers! I try using her party to get her to be good, telling her if she isn't a good girl she doesn't get to have cupcakes & presents for her birthday...it helps for a little bit!
On Monday when Kaylee left to go to grandma's house Keira helped Mommy Study and do my last project for school. School is almost over and I needed to finish my last project. Keira played in her bumpo and Mommy did her paper.
I know I say this all the time but I love watching my girls together. The older Keira gets the more Kaylee wants to be around her and help do stuff for her. It is the sweetest thing to watch. I love being a stay at home mom with my babies.
Kaylee has been funny lately. She has this sticker book and likes to put these stickers all over her face and she thinks it's the funniest thing ever. I hate the stickers cause I find them all over the house or they end up stuck on the bottom of my foot. But whatever makes her happy & not crying right!?!
2 days until my little stinker of a child turns 2!
She is growing up to fast and over the last week she seems to have gotten an attitude as well!
But I love her....
Your girls are beautiful! Thansk so much for stopping by my blog- I'm following you. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are both SO precious! :)
ReplyDeleteThe face she is making with that baby food is PRICELESS! And, I don't think Kaidence EVER liked the carrots..and she doesn't like "real ones" now either.
They are so cute!

I never appreciated a baby food covered face until I had kids--now I think it's so cute! haha. Love all the pics--especially the one of Keira in her bumbo chair next to your computer...she looks like a good helper! :-)
ReplyDeleteYour kids seriously remind me so much of mine! Well, except the falling asleep in the jumperoo part... mine have never done that and I'm a little jealous! :)
