Splish Splash

Yesterday afternoon after nap time while our pool was being filled back up with water I decided to suit Kaylee up and let her go play in the water.  It was like 85 degrees outside so the cold water felt refreshing.  Kaylee had a good time and even the dogs enjoyed a little swimming as well.

I'm so glad to have water back in the pool.  This weekend we are getting things together for Kaylee's party next weekend.  I cant believe it's that's time already!  I'm going to be a mommy to a two year old.  This kid has got some major attitude when she doesn't get her way, I think I'm in trouble with her!  She got in trouble the other day cause I didn't give her something she wanted so she walked off and said "ahhh god, stupid mom"  I don't know where the heck she's learns this stuff from!!  Next week I may not post to many blogs cause I need to get my house totally cleaned and picked up for the big party.  I'm in charge of cleaning inside and the boys are in charge of outside clean up!

Kaylee hasn't been swimming since last summer so I think she was a little standoffish at first, so she sat on the step for a little bit, when she would walk around & the water was moving there was a lot of "whoa's".  But she had a good time playing.  Even Uncle Josh came in the pool to play with her.  When he would swim off to the deep end she would say "where'd josh go"

This weekend I need to go to Target to get Kaylee some floaties & Keira a floatie to sit in while in the pool.  She did really well last year wearing the floaties and swimming in the pool.

Uncle Josh was pretending to make waves & Kaylee loved it!!  I got both the girls new swimsuits cause Kaylee's swim suits from last year didn't fit anymore.  I was hoping they would fit Keira but no, they were to big.  So we headed to Target and they got some new suits.

  1. Fun! Kaidence loves water, too. We got her a partial est that has floaties built in, and she likes it more than regular floaties.

And, happy mother's day to you too! :)

  2. AWWWW..your pools looks awesome and the pictures of Kaylee in it are so cute! Wish I'd have a pool in my backyard...and wish I could live somewhere else where I could actually use it longer than 3 months out of the year...;)
