Kaylee 30 months old

Kaylee Elizabeth,

You are 6 months away from being 3 years old.  I can't believe in 6 months I will say that I have a 3 year old.  You are growing up so fast.  I have enjoyed these 30 months with you!  You are such a joy to have around.  These last few months you've become so sassy but you can be super sweet when you want to be!

FAVORITE TOYS: all of your Toy Story figures and your tool set (you pretend to go fix things)

FAVORITE FOOD: speghetti, salami, string cheese & oatmeal

FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: playing pretend, cartoons, playing with Keira, going to Grandmas and playing catch

CLOTHES: 2-3T

TEETH: all

WORDS:  your speech and vocabulary have blown me away since you were little.  You have been such a good talker.  You've putting together LONG sentences and have been talking really well.

MILESTONES: being able to drive your RC car by yourself & jumping over your toys

STATS:
Weight: 27.2 lbs (30%)
Height: 35.5" (40%)

You are my pettite girl.  You've finally moved up a size in your jeans.  You've been wearing 24 month stuff for a long time and still can.  But we moved to 3T jeans cause your 24 month ones were getting to short.  You have grown an inch in two months.  Maybe that explains why you were taking such LONG naps and sleeping in each morning.  I'm not complaining at all.  You go to bed at 8:30 and get up around 8 everyday.  You are still take ONE nap a day for 3-4 hours which is a nice break for mommy cause you & your sister go down for a nap at the same time.

Its so cute to watch you play, you play with your Toy Story figurines and you run around the house with Buzz in your hand screaming TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!  Your new thing is to have Jessie kiss Buzz and Woody.  I love to watch your imagination come to life.  When we leave the house we turn on the DVDs with Toy Story 3 playing and I sometimes hear you nararating the movie in the back seat.  Silly girl!

I am so proud of you and all that you have learned.  I am so thankful that I've been able to stay home with you and teach you almost everything you know.  You are a very sweet girl.

EATING:  Your eating is getting a LITTLE bit better.  Your still picky about what you eat and were working on that.  Hopefully soon you'll go back to eating anything and everything.  We're still giving you foods that are high in fiber to help with your #2 problem.  Being on your new medicine you've been going everyday.

SLEEPING:  You have always been the best sleeper!  You still take one nap a day for about 3-4 hours.  You go to bed each night around 8:30 and get up at 8.  You have no problem falling asleep when sissy is talking or wakes up before you.

Since your at that age where you don't like to sit still to let me take pictures of you or you make goofy faces we're going to take a look back at you from a year ago (13-24 months)

You have changed so much you are turning into a beautiful little girl!
PS- Mom is a day late posting this you turned 30 months yesterday

I love you baby girl

Love, Mommy

  4. My daughter turned 2 1/2 in October and I can't believe she is so close to 3! My daughter is tall and skinny, so we are still doing 24 months/2T jeans for her, but she can fit into a few 3T tops, so I understand! My Emma loves tools too! She likes to turn her fourwheeler over and pretend to fix it! Too cute! :)

Anyway, I also wanted to let you know that I left you something over at my blog http://themommyhoodadventure.blogspot.com/2011/11/little-miss-popular.html
