Kaylee's birthday at the Train Museum

[Just a warning there will be A LOT of pictures]

Our day started early when Kaylee came running into our room at 6:40am saying
"It's my birthday"
well good morning to you to birthday girl.  She then wanted me to turn on cartoons for her, which I did.  Daddy then got up and ran out of the house to get a surprise for breakfast.  We were all downstairs by the time he got home.  Kaylee sat her in chair while I got her suprise breakfast ready.
Daddy picked up doghnuts and I put 3 candles in it and we sang Happy Birthday to her, which she loved!!

After we ate our doghnuts I got the girls dressed and ready for our excursion to the Train Museum.  But before leaving the house I wanted to get a picture with me and my girls for Mother's Day.  I love this picture of us.  They've brought me so much joy!

After our picture we loaded up in the car started a movie on the DVD player and made the hour drive to the museum.  We parked in the parking lot and walked the short way to the entrance of the museum.  As soon as we walked in Kaylee got SOOOO excited.  We paid and made our way through the museum.  I loved seeing the excitment on her face and I knew it was going to be a good day.

After walking around the 1st floor we made our way up to the 2nd floor where they had this whole train set up where the girls could push 4 different buttons to make the trains go and then down the ways a little bit there was 3 different train sets (which the girls loved and didn't want to leave).  They played at all 3 tables and played nicely with the other kids.

Once we were done playing upstairs we went back down to the 1st floor and looked at a few more trains we missed and then headed outside to look around some.  We then walked around in downtown Old Sacramento and enjoyed the beautiful weather and all the awesome smells.  We saw a train come in and a ferry leave.  After walking around we found a little cafe to have some hot dogs and fries before heading back to the parking garage.

sissy was mad that she didn't get to come out to get on the train with Kaylee

On the ride home Keira ended up falling asleep, so once we made it home I tried to lay her back down to see if she would sleep more.  It was quiet upstairs for like 15 minutes before I heard her calling for me!  Daddy went upstairs to get her and we hung out and watched a little TV before deciding what to do next.  We decided to go to run a few errands and then go to the park.  Well we stopped off to get dog food and then stopped at Anna's Lines and got a new shower curtain and I got a new super warm blanket.  We were going to go to the park but we headed to Jason's moms instead (he needed to pick up his car becuse he's going to use it to pick up his parents tomorrow from the airport).  So we played at grandma's house and daddy caught some frogs in the pond before we headed home to make dinner.  After dinner we busted out the cupcakes and sang to Kaylee one more time before they headed for bed.

I had the perfect Mother's Day, spending the whole day with my family.
Kaylee kept saying this was the best birthday ever!
Hope all your ladies had an awesome Mother's Day!
