Easter 2013: Part I

We had a wonderful Easter weekend.
To say it wasn't jam packed with excitement and fun would be an understatment!
The girls were like egg hunting pros!  It will be a lot of fun to watch all 3 of them running around next year collecting eggs!

On Saturday afternoon we made our first stop at my dad's house to check out his new house that he just bought.  I loved his house.  The girls had a good time running around and watching part of the movie Scooby Doo.  We then left and headed to Jason's aunts house.  The girls said their hello's to Auntie Rhonda, Uncle Jerrod & Great Great Grandma.  After the hello's they headed straight for the backyard to play.  They played outside for a little bit while I stayed inside with the baby.  Kaylee then went upstairs to play with the dollhouse before the egg hunt.

More family arrived and the girls were ready to go hunt some eggs.
Since the girls were already playing outside, they got an idea of where the eggs were, so when it was hunting time they both made a mad dash for them.

The girls went through every egg to see what was inside.
Lots of little toys and even some money.  Kaylee made $5.20 and Keira made $4.85
Once they finished looking in all their eggs, it was bubble time.
Auntie got the girls bubble wands and 2 things of bubbles.
Greatest gift ever, I swear the girls played outside for 2 hours with the wands and bubbles!

It was about 6:45 and daddy went to load up all the stuff into the car so that we could get ready to go.  I knew before leaving that I wanted to get a picture of Kendall with her Great Great Grandma and then one with all 3 girls.  I love these pictures and will cherish each one I'm able to get forever!  I think it's incredibly special that the girls have been able to meet their great great grandma.
{you'll notice Kendall needed an outfit change after drooling so much on herself}

Once I got my pictures we said our good-by's and headed home.
My mom, step dad and little brother were on there way from Colorado and were coming over for a quick visit.  My mom couldn't wait to met her 3rd granddaughter.
