Our Family Beach Vacation Part II

Wednesday: We woke up Wednesday morning to great weather.  So we got the girls ready and I was so happy that Keira's hair was long enough to finally go into a pony tail...she looked so cute, the four of us went to breakfast as a family before meeting up with Grandma down at the beach.  The girls had the best time, they built sand castles with daddy.  Kaylee liked collecting stuff to stick on top of her sandcastle.  She helped pack it down and Keira sat with Grandma and watched.  We ate some snacks and just enjoyed the beautiful day as a family.

If it looks like the girls are wearing the same outfit at the beach each day they are.  I decided I would put them in the same sandy outfit and let that get full of sand so that I only had one sandy outfit and not tons of sand in their outfits.

Around 1:00pm we headed back to our room to put the girls down for a nap.  Being out in the sun wore me out, so once the girls went down I took a nap too.  Once the girls woke up we went back down to the beach again, where Kaylee made a new friend his name was Quinn.  They played for a little bit before Keira realized where sissy went and went to join them.  So we played on the beach for about an hour before heading back to our room to change into warm clothes.  We all loaded up in the car (the 4 of us, grandma, grandpa and Uncle Patrick) and headed to a hawaiian resturant for dinner and then to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk to walk around and ride on some rides and play some games.  I got my pregnancy craving filled with a funnel cake and then girls enjoyed some candy.  We left the boarkwalk around 8 and headed back cause the girls were getting tired and mommy was exhausted.

  8. They really loved the beach! I like the fact that they only took a nap and went to the beach (again) immediately after waking up! Haha! That’s quite a funny and cute scenario. This proves how the beach does help the kids have a lot of fun! Everyone around ‘em must’ve been so happy to see these kids playing. The beach gives a domino effect of happiness. :D What do you think?

  9. You have a wonderful family, Joeylee! It’s always good for a family to spend summer at the beach. It’s the best place to have fun with the whole family. I’m sure the kids are excited to do this activity again this year. I hope you find the perfect beach for your vacation. Cheers!
