We had a splish splashin' good weekend

Prior to our weekend starting on Wednesday May 30th my mom, brother Jake and little brother Justin stopped by for a visit.  They were visiting from CO till Saturday.

They came over on Wednesday after nap time so that the kids could play and my mom and I could catch up.  All the kids had a good time together.  Kaylee was so surprised to see Uncle Justin, well I guess they were equally excited to see each other.  It was so cute.  They played nicely together for awhile before they started getting irritated with each other.  But before they left I had to take some pictures of the 3 of them together.  Kaylee opened her birthday present from my parents, they got her some summer clothes, sandals and my mom made Kaylee the cutest outfit.

The rest of the week my parents visited other friends and family.
We say them one more time on Friday night before they left on Saturday morning.
It was a nice visit with them.

On Saturday we were over at the old house cleaning up the rest of our garbage and being happy to say that we are all done over there!  Ah so happy to be done moving and to be able to finish unpacking and getting things decorated.  While the boys were unloading the last little bit of stuff from the truck the girls and I were hanging out on the lawn when a itty bitty praying mantis was crawling on me.  It was so cute and the girls thought it was the cutest thing ever and wanted to hold it too.  They both weren't afraid of it at all.

My dad helped us a lot in the moving process so we decided to take him and my step mom out to dinner to say thank you.  We took him to sushi, this was his first time going and he really liked it.  We love sushi in this house, I could eat it all the time!  Keira even likes it!  Kaylee usually eats the sticky rice and chicken teryiaki.  After dinner we made a stop at Cold Stone fore some ice cream and shakes!  It was a great way to end our Saturday.

On Sunday the girls slept in, thank god cause all last week they were waking up at 6:30 and that was way to early for mommy.  So I'm glad that there back to waking up at 7:30.  We did have to make one more stop by the old house to get the girls swing set and jason's air compressor.  Our friends met us at our old house and Eric helped Jason and my brother with the last 2 things and Jen came to WalMart with the girls and I.  We had a get a few things and Kaylee wanted to get a pool for the backyard so her and sissy can play.  I cant believe how big this pool is and I only paid $20. for it.  Awesome deal right.  When we got home I put the girls down for a nap and daddy blew up the pool and we BBQd some hamburgers for lunch.  The weather was beautiful and we had a great time hanging out.  The girls finally woke up from there nap, changed into there bathing suits and got into their new pool.  They had a great time and didn't want to get out.  I need to find them some pool toys to play with.  They played with there bath toys.  We had a great visit with my parents and enjoyed a great weekend.  Only 2 more weeks till we're lounging on the beach in Capitola!  Oh how I cant wait.
