Child Summer Book Swap

Recently I was contacted by Ashley from Happiness Is... to do a summer book swap for our kids.
Since my kids LOVE books I jumped on the idea, plus what kid doesn't like getting mail.

I need to find 6 mommies that would be interested in doing this.
It's really easy, I'll send you an email with the child's address that you'd be buying the book for with some instructions and you only have to buy ONE book.  By the end of it your child will get 36 books.
I am mean how awesome is that?!

So let me know if your interested and I'll email you with the info.
If your email is turned out please put your email in the comments section so I can email you the directions and the address you'll need to send the book.

Tomrrow morning at around 10am daddy leaves for the next 15 days.
I know the girls and I are going to miss daddy like crazy!
It's going to be harder this time around cause the girls are older and notice when daddy isn't here.
So I'm sure we'll be doing a lot of FaceTime calls with daddy over the next 15 days.
Jason and my brother are driving a mig plane to a microsoft convention in Atlanta Georgia (so they are drive from California to Georgia) and after the convention in Atlanta they have to go from Atlanta to Seattle WA for a day to do the same thing.  So my hope is that the next 15 days go by fast.

The girls and I will be staying with Jason's mom.
So tomorrow after Kaylee gets out of school we'll head home to pick up our dog and then head to grandmas where we'll hang out and do dinner.  We'll spend the night (cause I hate being alone at home at night).  Then we'll eat breakfast at Grandmas and then come home to hang out until Kaylee has to go to school M-W then go back.  But on Thursday - Sunday I'm not sure what we'll do.  I will come back to our house each day and check to make sure everything is ok.

We should have a good time at Grandma's.  Since it's suppose to be super HOT for the next 2 weeks its nice to know that we can go swim in grandma's pool.  Plus it's an extra bonus to have some help and an even better bonus to get dinner made for us.

I'm going to try to blog as much as I can.
Jason got me my iPad I just need to figure out how to do posts from blogger on there.
But if you follow me on instagram (@joeyleeelizabeth)  you'll be able to see lots of pictures of all the fun we're having.

So wish us luck that the next 2 weeks without daddy go well and that I don't lose my mind!

Here's a little update on Kaylee (Keira will have her update on July 29th)

It's been 2 months since Kaylee turned 3 and on June 11th she started summer preschool and has been LOVING it.  She goes 3 days a week M-W from 12:30 - 3:30 and when I pick her up each day she doesn't want to leave.  It's nice to know that she loves school so much.  She's making lots of friends and learning a bunch of new things.

On August 27th she'll be starting preschool for the fall school year.
August 27th - May 30th
She'll be going M-F from 9-12
I choose the morning so that  I can my mornings with just Keira and I so that we can have our time and I can teach her some things she's lacking in.  Plus with Kaylee going in the morning she'll be able to come home from school each day and be able to take a nap.

She is such a smart girl and sometimes she can be so SASSY!
She is such a funny kid, some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth has me LOL!

  7. Aww... I was going to say I would participate, but after seeing two people above have done them in the past and their kids didn't get any books, I don't know that I want to now. I hope it works for you guys though, and if it does this time, maybe I will participate next time. :)
