The aquarium was one of the things I was really looking forward to doing on our beach vacation. On our beach vacation last year we took the girls to the aquarium and they really enjoyed it. Now that they are both older and we have Kendall, I couldn't wait to see how excited they all got to see everything.
We got into the aquarium and the girls were excited to go see everything. We made our way to the shark and turtle area. We just happened to stop at one of the tanks that they were getting ready to feed the sharks and other huge fish. We stayed and watched while they feed the shark fresh salmon {like you'd get from a resturant}, although the girls thought it was cool none of the sharks wanted to eat any of it, so we left and went to look at some other cool stuff. The girls were so excited when they say the baby turtle, Kaylee said "look mom its the baby turtle from Finding Nemo."
Since being there last year, they changed the jelly fish exhibit around and it was so cool. I think the jelly fish are my favorite. They are so cool. The girls liked them and baby Kendall was in a trance while watching them, I think she likes them as much as I do.
The seahorses were Kaylee's favorite. They were our last stop before leaving the aquarium. There was one little tank that had the tiniest seahorses I've ever seen {the picture with the twigs has the tiny sea horses}. The leaf branch sea horse was really neat too.
After the aquarium we headed to lunch at a seafood place, all 3 girls were really good and ate really well too. Once we were done with lunch, we went to the go get cookies {grandma told the girls if they were good and ate all their lunch they could get cookies}.
We had carne asada burritos for dinner before heading down to the beach to listen to live bands.
What an awesome vacation! I'm sure you loved every minute of having this special time with your family. I love seeing all of your pics! Glad we are now connected on Instagram too! :)
