We all slept in a little this morning and headed upstairs where Kaylee witnessed something spectacular, grandma was looking at something through binoculars. After that Kaylee spent the rest of the morning being an adventure star wearing her "goggles" and looking at all kinds of things. She wore those most of the day until we left to go to the beach.
After everyone one was ready we all piled into our car and drove a few exits up to Rio del Mar. We went to SeaCliff Beach. Yes it's the same SeaCliff Beach that just 2 months earlier my guy was down on one knee asking me to marry him! It was special to have our girls with us this time and to tell them all about it. Kaylee thought it was pretty cool, Keira didn't really understand.
We found a cool spot, next to this log fort looking thing that the girls had an absolute blast playing in. Kaylee and daddy bug a big hole and played down by the water while Keira played by herself for a little bit. The baby played on the beach blanket for awhile before taking a nap. We spent a couple hours at the beach before the clouds started to roll in and it got cold.
We got back from the beach and it was to late for the girls to take a nap, so they rested on the couch watching cartoons. After relaxing for a while we figured out what we were doing for dinner and everyone got ready. We had mexican food and the girls were so good, they've been good this whole trip going out to dinner and being good. When we got back home the girls were more than ready to go, I know my girls are tired when they tell me that they want to go to bed.

I don't think she's excited at all to be at the beach |
