Pumpkin Patch 2013

I love Halloween and was bummed last year that we didn't get to visit the pumpkin patch, so this year I knew we had to go.  Daddy likes to visit the pumpkin patch during the week cause it's less busy.  It turned out that daddy had Friday off and our friends weren't working so they came with us.

The girls were so excited when we told them we were going to the pumpkin patch.  The weather was perfect and we all had a great time.  We also found some really good pumpkins.

The girls got to go on pony ride.  This is the first time they have both ever been on a horse.  The girls had an awesome time.  They were saying "this is so fun" every time they went around and saw me.  I love the smile on there faces, they were so happy!

First pony ride!

Kendall fell asleep before we got the pumpkin patch, luckily we had the wagon.  She rode around in the wagon for the first half of the time we were there.

After the pony ride, we decided to go pick out our pumpkins.  The girls were so funny and were running up and down pointing to all the pumpkins they wanted to pick out.  The girls and daddy picked out some good pumpkins.

Baby Madilyn's first time to the pumpkin patch

After we picked our pumpkins the girls wanted to go and play.  So we got some tickets for the jumping pillow.  The girls had a good time.  Once they jumped for the 5 minutes we decided to go pay for our pumpkins and say good bye to the pumpkin patch.

HOT DADS! (Kendall is not impressed!)

Proud new parents (baby Madilyn is 2 weeks old)

Cherishing the little moments

As I watch my almost ONE year old growing up way to fast right before my eyes, I cant help but want to cherish the little moments with her while she's still a baby.  I want to cherish the little moments with all my girls equally but I find myself being a little selfish and cherishing the moments with Kendall a little more.  Is that wrong of me?  I don't know... I think I'm doing it because she's my last baby and I will never get to cherish those big milestones again.

I wont get to snuggle with a squishy newborn again, I wont get to experience all of the first's and it makes me sad.  As the older girls grew up I may have wanted Kaylee to experience her first's fast and I may have been so excited for her to do them that I pushed them a little soon.  With Keira since I thought she was our last, I treasured those firsts with her a little more and didn't push them like I did with Kaylee and now with Kendall, I'm NOT pushing at all.  I'm letting her do them on her own time and loving every first.

I know the firsts aren't gone cause as my girls grow they will still be experiencing lots of firsts.  Some of which I'm not even ready to think about yet! (DATING, DRIVING, MAKEUP or PERIODS).  I am excited for the as you grow firsts (RIDING A BIKE WITH NO TRAINING WHEELS, SLEEPOVERS & MOMMY/DAUGHTER DATES).

As my girls grow I am afraid of what kind of kids they will be.  Will all 3 of them be good kids, who listen and obey their parents?  Will I raise them the right way to not drink and drive or do drugs?  Because they talk back now, is this a sign of what it will be like when they are teenagers?  I sure hope not.  I worry about what my girls will think of me as a parent.  I worry that they'll think I'm mean & that they wont like me.  I know I may be thinking a little to much into this but that's what I do.  I think to much into things and I hate that I do that but I cant help it.

I just want to have a great relationship with all my girls.  I want them to know that they can always talk to me about anything (I hope to have a relationship with them like I did with my mom). The unknown about raising kids is hard.  I wish I could look into the future and make sure that my kids will always be on the track and that we will have a great relationship.

So here's to many years of hoping that I get this parenting thing right....

Decorating, the pumpkin patch, pumpkin carving and getting dressed up.
But this year it's special cause we get to celebrate our baby girls 1st birthday!
I hope that we can put a check mark by a few of these this fall.
I'll be posting pictures of our adventures as we do them!

Picture Day at school

Last Wednesday was picture day at school but that morning Kaylee got a stomach bug and was getting sick.  So she stayed home from school and she rested!

So today is picture make up day at school.  Last year Kaylee took a really cute school picture and I'm really hoping that she takes another really cute picture.  When the paper came home to pick what picture package you wanted, we always choose the smallest package just in case they don't come back the cutest.  She's been practicing her smile.  I just hope at the last minute she doesn't throw in her sassy face!

So in honor of picture day we did a little photoshoot before school.
Cant wait to see her picture in a couple weeks!

Kaylee's school fashion: week 5

It's crazy to think we are already 5 weeks into school.
Kaylee is doing great in school and has already moved onto a new color in her sounds.
She received her second birthday invite from a school friend and she is so excited! She's excited because it's from one of her BEST FRIENDS.

This school has started off a little rough with the sickness.  Kaylee has been sick a lot this year, a lot more than last year.  Hopefully the rest of the year we can go without lots of sick days.

Monday Day 20, I wasn't able to get a picture of Kaylee cause I woke up to the worst stomach pain (to only find out I have an infection in my colon area).  So luckily Jason's mom was already coming over that day to take Kaylee to school and she took Keira with her too.  And since I was in to much pain I didn't take a picture.  It was cold that morning and she wore jeans with her pink Chico State sweatshirt.
