I'm in a RUT!

I'm in a blogging RUT.

I'm in a picture taking RUT.

I usually have my camera attached at my hip ready to take adorable pictures of my girls.  But for some reason my camera has been sitting on my kitchen table for the past 3 days.  I need snap out of it.

* I'm not sure what to blog about.  I usually blog about my kids all the time but lately we haven't been doing anything exciting to be blog worthy.  This past week we've been hanging out around the house or running a few errands. 

* We were suppose to be taking our family pictures tomorrow but hubs has to work.  So it has been moved to next weekend.  Really hoping that the weather is good.  I looked at the weather and its suppose to rain on Friday.  So fingers crossed for no rain and nice weather.  I have all of the poses that I want and where were taking the pictures and our outfits.  The girls are in 3 different outfits, I have 2 different shirts and daddy will wear just one shirt.  I cant wait to see how they turn out!

* Since daddy is working this weekend the girls and I will be hanging out around the house.  Maybe I'll find a craft for Kaylee to do while I get my craft on making stuff for Keira's birthday!

* After watching RAVEN post today about beauty products, I decided that I needed to update and get all new make up.  I ordered new makeup and hair products to make me feel better!  For some reason I haven't felt good about the way I look which lead me to not doing my makeup or getting dressed in my cute clothes.  I talked to my hubby and we talked about me getting this new stuff to make me feel better and he said do whatever is going to make me happy.  So my new beauty products are on their way! YAY

* This past week Kaylee has been really BAD with pottying!  It's like we're just starting the potty training processes.  She's been peeing in pants and not saying anything.  She's peed on the floor and on the couch (GROSS).  It has really been stressful this week!

* Speaking of stressful week Keira has been cranky/whiny through out the day cause she is TEETHING!  Her 2 top teeth are about to pop through.  They are so swollen and I can see the white spots.  I will say that even though she is teething and only wants to be held when she is awake, she is still sleeping through the night!  YAY!!!!

* I have been on a cleaning kick lately.  My house is so clean!  It feels good to have a clean house, but I swear no matter how clean the house is Keira can still find the smallest thing on the floor to put in her mouth!  When do they out grown that stage!?!  She is every where and into everything!

* Kaylee has been so cute lately well minus her tantrums she's been throwing this week!  Besides that she is really into playing pretend.  Yesterday she put on her hat, her scarf and grabbed her tin lunch pail and said "see ya mom I'm gonna go get on bus and go to school".  She is talking and saying long sentences.  She is hilarious thats for sure.

* The hubs and I are FINALLY going on date night on Monday.  Jason's mom takes both girls on Mondays from 4:30-8, so Monday's are now our date nights.  I am excited cause we haven't been on a date night in I don't even know when!  So it will be nice to reconnect again.

Well there was a little glimse of what we've been up to this last week and what some of our plans are for this weekend.  Hopefully I have more exciting stuff to talk about after this weekend and have some pictures to share....have a great weekend!

10 Months Old

Keira Alexis,

We've reached the double digets.  You are 10 months old today and growing up way to fast for mommy.  The party planning for your birthday has begun, we only have 2 months.

Mommy is so proud of all that you have accomplished.  I think you will be walking soon, which mommy is NOT ready for!  I want you to stay little for a little while longer.  You are not looking like a baby anymore your starting to look like such a big girl.  Watching you grow these last 10 months have been such a joy and I'm excited to continue to watch you grow and learn.

SLEEPING:  Sleeping has been an issue with you for the past 9.5 months and now I can finally say that you SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!  It has been AWESOME.  At around 8pm you drink your bottle and then I rock you for about 15 minutes to get my snuggles in and for you to relax and then I put you in your bed. You go to bed at 9 and wake up around 7-7:30.  I do put a bottle of water in your bed in case you do wake up at night but most mornings the bottle is still full.  Both you & mommy are waking up much happier each morning. YAY for sleeping.

NAPING:  You still take 2 naps a day.  One at 9am for 2 hours and then another one at 2pm for 2 hours.  At nap time mommy just puts you in your bed and you put yourself to sleep.

EATING:  You have really taken off with eating.  You want to try everything.  You love cheerios & kix.  But it was fun to watch you eat sketti the other night.  At first you didn't know what to do with it.  But after I put some in your mouth, you loved it and ate it all, plus you had a little garlic bread with it.  You eat 3 times a day (2 jars) and 4 7oz bottles.  The people food you've tried that you love is- french fries, garlic bread, saltines, corn, chicken & sketti.

• we finally moved you back into your room and you've been sleeping great

• you can stand alone for about 10 seconds
• you love to DANCE!
• you always have your tounge out

The bond thats formed between you and your sister is just amazing.  I love watching the two of you together.  I love how sissy can make you laugh and that you love to follow her around.  Your face brightens up when you see her and its just so cute!

WATCH ME GROW!

You have grown and changed so much

Mommy loves you baby girl.  Thank you for being such a chill and easy going girl.

Project: Blinged Converse & a birthday sneak peek

So I've seen blinged converse all over on different websites and I wanted to get some for the girls, but I was not willing to spend $50.  So I decided I'd make my own. Kaylee got red converse as a gift and I just bought Keira her first pair ($24).  We made the trip to Michael's to get some crystals ($1.99).

I bought one box of crystals containing 115 pieces thinking that that would be enough for both pair of the girls shoes.  I was wrong.  It took 2 boxes for both pair of shoes.  But the shoes turned out PERFECT and  wasn't expensive.  Now I'm thinking Kaylee needs a black pair.

Aren't they so cute!?!

Hot glue gunning all those little crystals did take me about 20 minutes per shoe.

I love the way they turned out.  Keira has 2 different kinds of ribbon shoe laces, one for family pictures and one that matches with her birthday dress.

I saw the bee footprint on pinterest (of course) and decided to make a cute sign.

She did such a good job when it came time to paint her feet and put it on the canvas.

Daddy's Mini Me

Kaylee has been a daddy's girl since she was about 6 months old and as she's gotten bigger she's become her daddy's little mini me.  Which he thinks is the greatest.  I think it's sweet too.

She likes to watch Off Road videos with daddy and like to go fast.

She likes airplanes just like daddy, she's even flown in grandpas airplane

She likes to pretend like she's hunting with her nerf gun daddy got her cause daddy hunts & shoots target, so she has to do the same.  So he sets up his targets in the house and she shoots them with her nerf gun.

Well her new obsession is RC cars. 

 Now that the weather is starting to slowly cool down, it's RC time.  We go out to our friends house and race the RC trucks on the track that they built.  Yesterday while we waiting to go to Grandma's for breakfast before heading out to go play RC cars, she wanted to help daddy put his RC car back together.  She thought it was the greatest thing ever.  She played with the remote control pretending she was driving.  Daddy got so excited that she was interested that he got online and was showing her RC cars.  So all day yesterday she kept asking if she could have an RC car, daddy got so excited that he is going to go get her one tomorrow!

As soon as we got to our friends house I put Keira down for a nap cause she so super tired and a little bit past the time she was suppose to go down for a nap.  So she enjoyed an hour nap, in that time I walked with Kaylee over to look at the goats and the horses while the boys worked on getting the track ready.

While waiting so patiently for the guys to be done Kaylee played with this basketball and tried to avoid the rain.  The weather was so wierd yesterday, it was warm then it got cold and then would rain for like 5 minutes and then go back to being warm.  Then out of no where the wind and would be so cold.

Finally the track was ready and some other people showed up, they lined their trucks up to start racing.

I love watching them together.  Kaylee loves her daddy.

Speaking of my littlest beauty I cant believe that in 3 days she's going to be 10 months old!  REALLY!?! That means 2 more months till the big ONE year birthday!  I cant believe how fast these months have gone by.  I have enjoyed every minute of it.  And I'm even more happy to finally be saying that she's sleeping through the night.  It's been a whole week and she couldn't be doing better.  We're moving her crib into her room tonight when daddy gets home.  So fingers crossed this isnt a fluke thing and she continues to sleep once we move her into her room.

My mom is almost finished with Keira's birthday skirt and I cant wait to see it.  So the birthday preperations are under way.  The stuff that I'll be making I need to get started doing so I don't run out of time.  I will be ordering stuff so that I have it all.  I'm excited and sad all at the same time.

My mom is sending me Keira's skirt she made for our family pictures.  Kaylee & Keira will have similar matching skirts (both made by mimi).

I'm excited for our family pictures this weekend.

I'm hoping the girls cororporate

That we're able to get good pictures of both of them together

That we're able to get good ones of all of us together

And that the weather isn't horrible, it's suppose to be 83.
