Will she walk by her birthday

I think she might be!
Tuesday night while I was changing her diaper, her new thing is to roll over and then speed crawl away so that I chase her.  She gets the biggest kick out of it and I now make a little game out of it.  She did this on Tuesday while I was changing and I just let her roam around naked.

I was laying on the floor with her and she was crawling over me and then kept standing up alone.  I would sing to her and she would start dancing.  She would shake her butt back an forth.  It was so cute.  She's getting pretty good at standing alone.  The other morning she stood up on our bed by herself, which is pretty impressive cause its not flat.  She dances and does what looks like squats.  She has been walking around with her push toy but sometimes she gets a little scared when it goes to fast on the hardwood floors.

It would be fun to see her walking by her birthday.  Kaylee thinks its awesome that Keira is standing, she kept saying last night "come on sissy run with me".  Kaylee tries to tackle her while she's standing!

Well much to my surprise this moring (Thursday 11/10/11) I was checking my emails and out of the corner of my eye saw that Keira was standing but she wasn't near anything to help her stand up.  So I stopped what I was doing, she was sitting then she got in her frog position and then just stood up.  Me being super excited and proud I screamed (yes screamed and scared the crap out of her) "YAY BOO BOO".  But I didn't tramatize her cause she did it again.  Of course when I get the camera out to video this awesome moment she STOPS doing it!  In these last few days she has been doing so many new things.  The other day she started using a sippy cup to drink from.

So I was typing a second ago that I missed getting it on video but my little boo performed and did it again and I was able to get it on video...YAY  I love that I'm able to capture all these fun and precious moments.

(sorry for poor quality, there from my phone)

Day 9/30 days of Thankfulness
November 9th, 2011
I am thankful for the opportunity I get to go to Physical Therapy.  Going each week makes me feel awesome.  Granted the next day I am a little sore but I'm happy to be feeling better.  Waking up each morning with little pain is great.  I have 4 more visits and then the Physical therapist will decide if I need to keep coming or not.  At this point I cant see myself not going to get relief.

Day 10/30 days of Thankfulness
November 10th, 2011
I am thankful for my dog Kona.  She is like a new toy for the girls.  She spends her days outside (unless its raining) and then comes in after dinner and the girls get so excited to play with her.  But the girls get so excited everytime she comes in.  It's nice when I have to get something done real quick cause Kona will just lay there and let the girls play with her.  They will play with her for a good 20 minutes before moving on to the next activity!  She will be 6 the day after Keira's birthday.

  1. She sure does look like she'll be walking in no time! I think having an older sibling helps with that too :-)

  2. Yay for Keira!!! :-)

  3. YAY! She is definitely going to start walking soon. My little bug has been taking a few steps here and there, but nothing major yet. Thats great that she can stand up on her own like that already. I give it a week, tops.
Oh and thanks for letting me know anonymous on my blog was disabled. I fixed it. :)

  4. That video is adorable! Such a big girl!
