Mother's Day 2011

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  It was my first Mother's Day as a mama to two babies!  Last year was my first Mother's Day a few days away from Kaylee's first birthday.  Last year Mother's Day was May 10th and I was hoping she would have been here so that I could celebrate my first but no she held out 3 days and decided to make her apperiance May 13th instead.  But that's ok!

But this year I have two babies to celebrate with & I couldn't have been happier to spend the whole day with them.  I was awoken bright and early at 6am by my littlest beauty thinking it was time to be awake, so I gave her her bottle and nicely asked her that once she was done if we could go back to sleep for a little bit.  Well she must have agreed cause she went back to sleep and I was then awoken again by my other little beauty with a present.

Saturday daddy took Kaylee out to pick something out for mommy.  They were gone for 2 hours.  This was the first time that it was just daddy & Kaylee by themselves.  It was so cute to see her get so excited to go somewhere with daddy, she kept saying "mone daddy lets go! hurry up."  hehe

So back to Sunday morning Daddy brought Kaylee in from her room with her present she picked out.  She picked out some candles for mommy.  I love candles, she picked them out by colors not smell....she did a good job cause they smell good.  My BIG surprise came when she pulled out a little box wrapped.

Daddy upgraded Momm'y ring to a bigger one!  I was so surprised and had NO idea!  It was so pretty, I had to take it to the jewlrey store to get it resized cause ot was to big.

After my morning surprise we all got ready to head to Jason's moms for breakfast.  We had yummy pancakes and bacon.  The girls played and we all visited.

After breakfast and playing we headed home to spend the rest of the day together.  The girls took a nap and mommy got some cleaning done (yes I cleaned on Mother's Day).  I still have to get the house ready for a party on Saturday.

Later on we met up for some Chinese with the Alegre's.  We had a good time and the food was good.

I tried to get a Mother's Day picture with both my girls but Kaylee was NOT having it at all!!  But Keira only wanted to take pictures with mommy!

This was the ONLY picture that I was able to get of Kaylee.  She likes to sleep with lots of toys now.  She sleeps on her pillow pet (which she has named DOUG), her 2 Olivia's, Jessie & Woody (from Toy Story)
Yes she still has a pacifier but she only uses it when its nap time & bed time.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with my family and I look forward to many more with them.
