Exhausted!

Exhausted is an under statement!  More like beyond exhausted...why you might ask?  Well I'll tell you.  I think I got way to spoiled after having Kaylee.  The first 4 weeks with her were pretty easy, we only had a bad night where she cried for hours, but after hitting the 4 week mark and started formula...the kid slept through the night from there on out!  The only time it was different was when she we teething.

Lets fast forward to when I came home from the hospital in Dec. with my baby #2.  I thought that I might get lucky again with her.  Well I was so WRONG!  She will be 5 months old tomorrow and in this time she has only slept through the night twice.  Yeah you heard me right TWICE.

I guess it could be a lot worse, she use to wake up 2 times at night and now it's down to 1 time at night (sometimes)!  Lets talk about last night...she goes to bed around 8:30 and was back awake at 11:15 drank her bottle and then went back to sleep.  Mommy finally fell asleep around 12 and she was back awake at 2:00am OMG seriously!  So I tried to just give her her pacifier and hope she would go back to sleep but no.  So she drank another bottle and thought that it was time to PLAY.  SERIOUSLY kid, it's 2:15am its not time to play its time to be sleeping!!!  So finally around 3:00am she fell asleep.  Well guess who was up bright n early this morning at 6:00 on the dot.  I don't know what to do.  She takes a 30 minute nap around 9am and then her 2 hour nap at 12 and then another 30 minute nap around 5.

Today I have tape holding my eye lids open and I might need to take a nap today while the girls nap.  I am one tired mama.  I hope that something changes soon cause I don't know how much longer I can go like it.  It makes me feel slugish through out the day and I don't want to do anything cause I'm so tired.

So fingers crossed that mommy starts getting some sleep soon.

Helping mommy feed sissy, she's such a big helper

Look at those eye lashes and those beautiful blues

  4. I SO know the feeling. However, will you hate me when I say that both my kids have slept thru the night since month 6? And now, they are 3 and 1 and both sleep an average of 11.5 hours straight, with not one peep out of them inbetween.

Still love me? I hope so...

I mean, good thing your girls are so flippin cute, or else you may never forgive them for all that lost sleep :)
