How we spent our Valentine's Day

The girls woke up around 7:30 I got them up and we headed downstairs.
I got them dressed and they had a quick breakfast.
I then bribbed Kaylee so that we could take some Valentine's pictures.
I told her if she takes pretty pictures that I would give her a cookie.

While I took pictures of the girls, I started downloading Lady and the Tramp for the girls to watch.
They sat and watched the whole movie,  I haven't seen that movie in a long time. It was nice to sit and watch a classic with the girls. After the movie I gave the girls their new books from Grandma and Grandpa
They read their books for a few minutes and then wanted to move onto something else.

We then moved on to coloring.  This was Keira's first time coloring and she didn't even try to eat the crayons!  While the girls colored I made them heart grilled cheese sandwhiches which they loved.

After lunch the girls played for a little bit and since they were playing so nicely I let them stay up 20 minutes past nap time to play.  After I put them down for a nap I ate lunch and then worked on my Valentine craft for the girls and for daddy.  I made a cute little coupon book for them.

These are activities to do with both of the girls minus the special ones for Kaylee.   I did the special ones for Kaylee because on Friday's when Kaylee goes to Grandma's, Keira gets her special one on one time with mommy and daddy.  So I thought it would be nice for Kaylee to have the same thing.

Also while the girls took a nap I made up a yummy Reese's dessert for after dinner.

Once the girls woke up from a nap Kaylee wanted to make something for daddy for Valentine's Day.  So I wrote something up and she used her artistic abilities and colored so nicely.  After coloring we hung out watched cartoons and played while we waited for daddy to get home.

We stayed at home for dinner and I made chicken and some pasta mixed with veggies and we all had the Reese for dessert which was really good!  The girls took a bath and then we put them to bed while mommy and daddy relaxed and watched some TV.

All in all we had a great Valentine's Day!
