Sunday Funday

Sunday we spent majority of the day at home relaxing, swimming, Keira eating her first Mum Mum and playing on the swings.

While Kaylee swam in the pool with daddy I decided to have mommy time with Keira.

So we went to play on the swings on the swing set.

Keira LOVES the swings and she likes to go high, when she goes high she giggles.  Its so cute

I love when I'm able to spend one on one time with my girls.

I feel it's important that they get all of my attention even if its only for 30 minutes at a time.

Then Kaylee noticed that Keira was swinging and wanted to come swing too.

So we switched daddy took Keira for daddy time and I took kaylee for mommy time

Kaylee has always loved the swings, she first when on the swings when she was 4 months old.

Anytime we go to the park she would rather swing the whole time than plan on the playground.

Kaylee then noticed that daddy had the hose and was watering the orange trees and couldn't get out of the swing fast enough to go over and help him.  This is her new thing with daddy, they water the trees together.

But the exciting news for Sunday was that

MAMA GOT A NEW SUV

Right now I drive a 2004 Chevy Truck (extended cab - which looks like a half door).  Well when we all go on trips we pile into that.  So hubby drives, my brother gets the front and I'm shoved in the back in between two car seats!  Let me tell you its not really a comfortable ride.  So we've been looking to upgrade to something bigger.  The hubs has been doing a lot of research and you found the perfect SUV for us.

2001 GMC YUKON XL

omg that thing is so spacious and all of us can ride in comfort.

It has 3rd row seating and now our dogs can go with us cause it has a huge back area.

I will post some pictures soon, it needs to be washed and prettied up a bit.

All in all Sunday was a great day.  We didn't end up getting home until 9:30.  Kaylee fell asleep on the way home cause she hadn't had a nap all day.  Keira slept really well last night too only waking up once even though she's in the process of having 2 more bottom teeth break through.
